Wonder if they had a change of chef. Very mediocre and the wantons were cold. The staff attitude seemed like they just didn’t care.

Tried the Wanton Mee with black sauce and chilli. Was good. Sauce and chilli paste could be improved. Noodles were good. Not over or under cooked.. Just nice. Wantons are OK for the price. I prefer Wantons with diced water chestnuts for the crunch. Also ordered the wanton soup. Soup needs alot of improvement. It's just bland. Needs flavour. Had to add in my own ingredients to make the soup savoury. All in all, its a decent dish.

This stall is one of the most popular in the food center so long queues at lunch-time are common. Its Singaporean Chinese version of Wanton Mee is both tasty and affordable at $2.50. It is different from the Hong Kong soup style. We try to visit whenever we're in Singapore. The crunchy egg noodles are tossed in a soy sauce mix and topped with slices of barbecued pork and some blanched green vegetables. We also get 4 small wantons in a bowl of soup with the order.

It is quite good in my opinion after trying few in Katong that overly hype the taste of their wonton noodle. The queue can be long dying the meal time. Offered varieties of the wonton noodle with braised chicken feet, braised pork ribs and dumplings . The noodle cooked to perfection and was springy. The size of the noodles is perfect too. The paste used can be slightly better but I asked for black sauce instead the tomatoes type. Not too bad. They also offer spicy wonton which wonton is made to perfection, soft and smooth skin with just enough meat. Friendly aunties to het your order despite long queue. They also have value meal that you add $1 more per any meal with noodle to get fried wonton, dumpling soup etc...

Tried their 水饺面 without chilli and added a bit of ketchup plus green chillies. Good taste and the dumplings were good too. For me, the most important is the texture and taste and feel of the noodles. The noodles this stall uses is good. Its light and crunchy and does not have the alkali after taste effect.

I didn’t specifically come here for the wanton noodles. I happen to be nearby and was looking for something to eat and saw a queue from a far. So I decided to give it a try. Well, Singaporeans always love to queue for good food so I start queuing with anticipation. It didn’t take long before it was my turn, I order their signature noodle $4.50 with the add on of fried wanton for additional $1. I didn’t expect the portion to be big but it is worthwhile for only $4.50. As for fast, this is better than average wanton noodle. Noodle was cooked just nice and chewy, the chilli is just spicy enough to my liking. Not the best of all but better than average. I won’t specifically come here for the wanton noodle but if I am around the area I will give it a try again.

From a point of view as a Sarawakian, this is not the best wanton noodle I had.. In my hometown, we called this as 皇帝面 or "Kings noodle" direct translate.. this type of noodle tend to be "rubberry" and bright yellow in color.. The wanton is "pre-cooked".. meaning the wanton was cooked and put at a tray.. and serve once ordered received.. this kind of wanton skin will tend to be hard when exposed to air for too long . Even though u add soup also no use.. The only thing I like is "green chilies with vinegar".. in Sarawak, kolok mee must pair with green chili vinegar. Last but not least, not the best 皇帝面 I ever had in my dictionary, Singapore too. Portion is okay. The pork oil based not enough fragrance
