G	Goo Bakmi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and delicious bowl of lor mee. Wanted to have Lik Min laksa but was closed and try the lor mee instead. For $4, the serving is generous and have lots of ingredients. Comes with fried yam which look and taste like mamee noodle. Very balanced taste after mixing the chilli and vinegar, with well cooked noodles. Next time I will add more chilli and vinegar to get a stronger taste. Overall I will recommend lor mee lover to give it a try if u are around toa payoh.

All the ingredients are cleanly prepared, even within the dark mix you can tell what exactly you are eating. It is really good and I love it! Only problem… It left me hungry for more!

The gravy is thick and flavorful, pork is shredded and not fatty which I like, comes with deep fried yam fritters which is quite unique. Have been coming back for their lor mee since 2008 when moved to Toa Payoh.

Wheelchair accessibility wise, not the best place as the space between tables are rather narrow. I didn't manage to find any accessible table either, had to obstruct the way of others while having my meal.

A gooey goodness full of braised pork, stewed eggs, ngor hiang, fish cake and the house special yam crispies. Mini explosions of different textures, flavors and ingredients with each mouthful. Gravy doesn't turn watery nor leave a bitter aftertaste at the end of the meal.

The shredded yam fritters is unique and tasty, whether on its own or soaked in the Lor Mee gravy. Do add the vinegar to enhanced the taste of the Lor Mee. The stall is clean and the ingredients are clearly displayed. The price starts at $4, which is on a high side in an old neighborhood. One will feel disappointed after eating the Lor Mee Definitely will return to eat.
