★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Song Le stall at 21 Street Eating House offers the typical fried noodle stuff from Char Kway Teow to Hokkien Mee to Char Tao Kway.
Here's my 'Hum-less' (with regrets...) Char Kway Teow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently I think change boss as the stalls change alot but some new food not bad & expensive too maybe due to the rental high. Toilet was grade best in kopitiam around tampines since new boss....getting worst, cubicle /urine base choke and dirty too. Hope the new boss look into it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The new cai fan stall did not state price list. Ordered a few times, same dishes but order thru different ppl also charge different price. Suggest them to put up price list so ppl know how they charge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The new mala here was the worst I've had in Singapore. Food was bland and tasteless. Lacking in both components of Ma and La. Don't be fooled by the pricing too, I paid more than $25 for an amount I'd normally get for ~$15 elsewhere. Do not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love the chicken rice. I paid $3 for a plate of Chicken Cutlet Rice but the portion and quality FAR EXCEEDS the price. The chicken rice is worthy of a Michelin Bib Gourmand. The chili is perfectly balanced, the rice is delicious and the chicken is always tender and juicy. The soup is decent. Sometimes, the staff would call me 'shuai ge', haha! This is one of the best chicken rice in the East.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered ice lemon tea (display said homemade), I've asked for less sweet but it was pre-made, hence no adjustment! Nevermind... It Costs $1.80.
But lo and behold, it tasted horrible and fake lemon upon first sip! I can't even finish it, it's that bad!!! So bad I didnt even bother to take pix except for the food.
Besides its terrible taste, the price is not worth it! Other coffee shop's offers at $1.50 and tastes even better and more authentic home made with taste of lemon and able to adjust sweetness. ?
