Management should review the manhour needed at the Tampines One outlet. It was dinner time and I could tell that volume of orders were high. Only one staff doing all the job; take orders, serve customers, do the drinks, pack the drinks etc. I could tell that the staff on shift was on high stress without support by other members. I really pity the staff on shift. It wasn't her fault that the orders were not able to be done on time. One person doing everything, esp on a friday night, how's that possible? if this is part of the training techniques to make the staff independent and learn faster, its being done the wrong way, it will never work and really need to be reevaluate the staff training plan. I hope the management will look into this matter, its a newly opened store and theres already numbers of negative reviews.

Im a person who enjoys coffee a lot, i used to go to stsrbucks and coffee bean and recently explored huggs. They offer fairly decent coffee. Im not one to rate coffee much because i practically need it every single day to start off well. However recently when I was told to try flash coffee, i was very impressed with the service and the product. Im in love with the iced cappuccino and the nutella shake. I also wanted to mention that the cashier and barista at the tamp 1 outlet was very kind to me despite having such a load of orders. Even though the waiting time was pretty long, this malay barista with beautiful short hair and spectacles assured me that she would pass my order asap with such a kind voice. I observed her a little more and indeed she was working very hard and managed to serve my drinks quicker than the said waiting time. She gave me a big smile and said “enjoy your day!”. Im sincerely appreciative of her colleagues working and especially her, because she has brightened my day. That small action of kindness and compassion in her job really goes a long way. I hope you can find some way to thank them for their hard work. Thank you!

Bad experience Was scrolling through the comments and it seems like the management need to relook into training the service staff based at Tampines 1 with all the reviews below despite it being a relatively new outlet. Ordered a simple iced black coffee to go, but server got my order wrong despite me asking multiple times if its correct order as the amount seems different from what was stated on the menu. Server brushed me off impatiently and said it is correct, hence I just paid and waited for my order. When the drink was prepared, it is indeed the wrong order (coffee with milk) and I told the staff that this was not what I wanted. The other staff double checked my receipt and state its the correct drink - which means the ordering part got messed up. No follow up from the team after whatever that happened, including initiation of refunding the excess money that I paid, they were just talking amongst themselves. I waited for awhile as I thought they needed some time to sort out their operation internally but after no actions taken afterwards, I went up and told the cashier again that I ordered an iced black coffee and would like a refund for the extra money that I have paid. The cashier assumed that I wanted coffee with milk and told me 'You should have reiterate your words properly.' I was shocked at the attitude and lack of urgency to resolve the issue, merely just asked me to wave my card again. I questioned if the previous transaction is going to be voided as I have not seen any reimbursement and I got a very grudging reply that it will be. However, almost a week had past and no refund have been reflected. If server was unsure of order or have difficulty hearing customers behind the mask, I believe we are all totally fine with having them to repeat the final orders just to double check before transaction. For someone whom have been working in the food and beverage industry for some years, this has been a truly disappointing experience coming from this brand.

Update (1 March 2022): It has been more than a month since I sent out the email but there is no reply from Flash Coffee. Don't bother sending them an email. 0 Stars for customer service Went back to try again. Service was rude. Don't brother using their app. Your coffee will get served later than those walk in guys and staff will be mad when u ask them for updates about your coffee. Won't go back. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. Friend recommend this shop. Gotten the matcha Latte in regular size yesterday from Tampined 1 outlet. Everything wasn't mixed properly and sunk to the bottom. They don't have straw, it's fine but the stirrer doesn't even reach the bottom of the cup. I had to dip my fingers into the cup and use the stirrer. Everything was so diluted and just taste like pure milk when not mixed. Expected better from a $5+ cup of milk. I don't know if it's your staff that is new and doesn't know how to make the drink properly but the turmeric latte wasn't any better. Everyhting was just stuck at the bottom of the cup.

I suggest you ignore the google 3-star rating for Flash Coffee until you try it for yourself. This will always be a 5-star coffee brand for me. I remember trying their nutella latte for the first time when they opened their first outlet in SG at Oxley Tower, and falling deeply in love with it. I have been ordering their coffee almost everyday since and it really gets me through the tiring work week, as well as perk me up on bright sunday mornings. Unlike most coffee chains, Flash might have spruced up all over SG but I was so touched when their quality never dropped nor disappointed no matter which outlet you go to. BUT here is the biggest reason why Flash deserves a 5-star rating. They really have a heart for their customers, and today they went the extra mile to make sure my pickup order got delivered for free because I had selected the wrong option, and they understood my family situation that I could not leave the house. They appreciated that I was a loyal customer, and this is what they do for their customers. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

The service was quite nice actually. The workers there was more than happy to answer my questions regarding the best sellers. On top of that, when given my drink they also wished me a good day ahead. The coffee was also good, I got the nutella latte and I liked it. It's sweet and you can really taste the coffee too. Will definitely come back and bring my friends and family as well! :) Thank you to everyone that's working. Pleasant service.

One star for decent coffee, none for terrible service. Ordered in advance for self pickup via a third party app cos I didn't wanna deal with lacklustre fulfilment via the app. 5 coffees were lined up beautifully on the counter, NOT EVEN PLACED IN CARRIERS. Asked for them bagged and 6 were placed in pathetic sleeves. Staff made the mistake of packing an extra drink even after I showed them the orders on my screen. Thought I ordered extra by mistake so I was like okay whichev. Lo and behold, the bloody sleeves broke barely 2 minutes after and I had to go back to them and ask for proper carriers. Asked to double bag and I swear it was like waiting for an eclipse watching the staff struggling to double it. And they packed 5, so I asked what happened to the 6th and a staff looked at me and said "YOU TOOK AN EXTRA ONE EARLIER" in an accusing tone. Excuse you.
