The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf™ - Century Square

Was at your shop at around 3pm on Feb 2. I was served by Winnie one of the staff. I am politely tell her that we will be having a dine in. There were a couple of seats available unfortunately, she told us that there was no seat available. To my surprise, I showed her seat which is available. She was not happy when I politely told her so. Your safe entry scanning was not even working and she was just staring me not even bothered to help so I asked is there any other way to do safe entry and it was so easy to do but she don’t have any initiative to help. Upon taking orders she was grumpy and her voice is so angry. I told her I couldn’t speak loud. I told her I understood that she’s tired however, you should not showed it to your customer. I’ve been in customer service for 20 years so I know how the systems work. If your staff is under stress and overworked let them rest so they can serve customer well.

Bought this Hot Dark Chocolate with "marshmallow". Gotten home and drank it. Tasted like hot milk with a bit of brown colouring and last but not least, they gave us tons of "marshmallows". Cheers! $7.90 worth of hot brown coloured milk.

Overall it’s a conducive 24hours outlet. Good location and an option for me to have late night meets with friends. I would like to point out that Winnie is very good at what she does. Her service is brilliant and she is attentive. Even though I have received good service from Winnie, I am giving 4 stars as I do wish the others would give more smiles. I did notice that the outlet short handed, I do hope management would give them better support to be able to provide improved service.

Went early morning 8am for breakfast and it's pretty empty. Ordered 2 sets of BBQ Chicken Sandwich with Oatmilk Latte. Abit disappointed that the latte is served in paper cup but taste wise still not bad. Waited for quite some time for the sandwich to be ready. BBQ Chicken Sandwich looks very presentable. But Bread is on dry side and chicken patty has no hint of BBQ at all. Whole sandwich can't keep to shape also, bread and fillings keep sliding down. Hashbrown is hot but not crispy. Though the sandwich not really to my liking, i have always loved Coffee Bean's chicago cheesecake. Very creamy and aromatic.

Affordable set for 2 at $10.90 before 2pm! Vanilla bean latte was good but a lil too sweet for me. Turkey ham omelette sandwich was not bad, bun a lil dry but good with their sauce and cheese! Love the thick omelette~

Lovely place friendly staff. The tables are very wide apart so there aren't many seats available. We thought the hot chocolate here was the best we had tasted even better or on par with Starbucks which is our favourite. The seasonal peppermint choc cake was very good too. PS. Not being Tampines residents we are not sure why century square is less crowded than tampines mall or tampines 1.

One of the best place to chill when you are tired from walking around. Pretty standard drinks and cake. The reason for deducting 1 star was because they had a sign "please wait to be seated", but we waited for quite a few mins and was ignored and nobody was there to usher you in.. so anyway after few mins i just went in myself lol. Probably can remove the sign if its not required anymore.

Located in Tampines central level 1. Friendly staffs who give professional service. Cleanliness is superb. Only can sit max 2 people due to pandemic. Abit noisy but it's fine. Nice place to chill, have a drink and snack. Reasonable price. Highly recommended!
