โ โ โ โ โ I was charged $15 for a defective bicycle. Most are old and poorly maintained. You cannot climb uphill or slopes without hurting your knee.

โ โ โ โ โ Rental fee here is almost 1.5x to 2x of that near to jetty, despite newer bicycle. Starting from SGD12 to SGD30, while those near to jetty could starts at SGD6, if you have a group of friends.
Bargaining is not welcomed either, so if you want newer bicycle, this is the option. Else, ask around first.

โ โ โ โ โ Their dog bite my dad, they did nothing about it and I was even given a cold shoulder. The owners refused to take responsibility for the dog and said that we went to 'invade' its territory.

โ โ โ โ โ Cheapest option is $8 for an older bicycle. I was given a defective one which the chain came off very easily and gears not working.
Donโt rent the older models and check the gears and breaks carefully when renting!

โ โ โ โ โ The bicycle rental shop selling chendol at a price of $4, on first thought, just give it a try. I ordered 2 bowls. It was a great disappointment! The stall was so stingy with gula melaka and coconut milk it made the drink close to tasteless. It was not the chendol you are expecting. Chendol priced at $2 on mainland are so much better. Advice: just bring enough own water to Ubin to quench your thirst.

โ โ โ โ โ You can rent a bicycle as low as SG $5 for the whole day while you are in Ubin Island. High recommend come early so you can have more choices of bicycles you want to.

โ โ โ โ โ 45C has plenty of bicycles for rental.
Some are visibly worn, but I spotted some relatively new additions to their fleet.
They also stock cold drinks, ready in fridge.
(Drinks may have been 45cents once upon a time, but they no longer cost the same!)
