A very huge cafe w cute deco. I love TBB pastries, always been a huge fan. But I was surprised at the price of the tea that I had. It was $6++. I wonder why…

Really conflicted if I should post this but I’m really shocked by the flat white today. As a novice leisure home coffee maker, I know that it’s terribly hard to make latte art and a nice latte art DOES NOT mean the coffee is nice too. What’s more important is the dose, extraction of the beans, frothing of the milk etc. Latte art is well… just a superficial thing and has no bearing to the taste of coffee. However, being presented a flat white with a clear attempt at latte art but failed is possibly a first indicator that what’s to come with the taste might possibly disappoint due to improper technique. I’m really sorry that I had to ask for a redo of the coffee today but the coffee was severely under-extracted which meant it had a really sour and sharp taste. The 2nd batch was the same as well. I don’t know if the cashier was randomly thrusted into the role of the barista as well maybe because the barista didn’t show up today but it sure felt like he was doing a role he was not meant to be in today. I feel really sorry for him because he certainly deserves better training for his role whether or not he was covering for the actual barista or is the actual barista. Really just an overall shocking batch of 6 flat whites today. Had better coffee here in the past

The pastries were good but the beverage is a bit so-so. The beverage menu is artsy but not so easy to understand at first glance. The dining area itself is quite spacious.

Had the green tea croissant and apple kouign amann. The pastry is crispy and very satisfying! The turmeric and blue bell latte were also very good accompaniment to the dishes - they are not too sweet and very fragrant.

I have had better chocolate croissants from cold storage... refer to photo for the sad amount of chocolate in the pain au chocolat Two stars because we at least had some other treats to better the experience.

A little pricey, but coffee and pastries are nice. Place is spacious and many seats are available. Nice place to sit down and take a break from shopping in Funan.

Had a flat white and salted egg yolk bun. Both were incredible, and I have a craving for the bun again. 100% recommend trying it if you like sweet pastries!
