N	Ng Google on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been eating from their stall since 2 years back, and Grouper porridge is the same dish I ordered each time I’m there. The taste is still good but my recent gripe is about their service. Staff was really pushy about getting you to upsize your order. First she will ask how many pax eating, I said 2 and staff replied okay it’s $25. I was shocked cos I always order the $20 size. (On their menu it still shows $8/$12/$15/$20) How this $25 portion came about? Price increase okay , then put on your menu right. If $20 size is now at $25 then why are you still showing these 8, 12, 15, 20 for? Again if $25 is for 2 pax , then what is your $8, $12 for ? half a pax? I used to enjoy their food so much. This meal was still comforting for me especially after a long day work and I craved for a hot piping soothing nutritious fish porridge. I still give credit for their cooking but the ordering experience really left a bad taste in my mind.
S	Shu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is second time l visit here. The lady taking order will always try to upsell you. When first time l come l can already feel it. This time also the same. Luckily told my friend don't fall into her trap before we order. She keep upsell the soup for two person but we insist order soup for one person plus two braised pork rice , then can feel she is unhappy. Many choice of fish on the board however when you order, she will told you this one don't have, that one don't have? When she serve the soup, she purposely take only one set of the cutlery, and told us if we want another more then go to take yourself. What the hell for this something wrong action...... Overall, the taste of the soup is really not bad however the behavior of the lady worker is totally SUCKS.?
C	CT Low on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fish soup comes in $5/$8/$12 and bigger portions. But, the assistants will always (and I mean always) upsell by asking you "$8 or $12 one?" Beware, if you are not careful, you would think that $8 is the minimal order, but no, there is the $5 portion. Do not be tricked. I've come several times, and different assistants always go by the same trick. So I think they are acting on the instructions of their boss. Food wise, yes, fish soup is good. After note: With the worldwide escalation in price, they have phrased out the $5 portion now, so the fish soup starts at $8 (as at May 2022 when last went).

Was so disappointed. $10 for soup, 70cts for rice and 20cts for container. Look at the pics for what they gave. 2 miserable prawns. 3 pieces of fish 2 round cuts of squid And some veggie No chance buying from here again.

Felt a little upset when I found out that there was actually a $5 option but the stall assistant only asked if I wanted $8 or $12. I don't like such tactics. Would have given the food 5 stars otherwise.

Order $12 fish porridge(requested no spring onion and vegetable) in the end when serve to me spring onion spotted and explanation is left over from previous serving from pot. Then next plenty of vegetable spotted. What spoil the food was there is plenty of fish scale and bone. A simple meal for a raining day turn out i have to be super careful when eating. In the past those service crew lady was top notch and will look into it. This time round the lady just brush off. Sad.
