This agency came highly recommended by 2 expat friends. The first helper had an undisclosed medical condition, goiter & hyperthyroidism plus regular migraine & nausea from medication. She was high strung, temperamental, wasteful & destructive (broke a lot of things) She also took my stuff & shipped home. The agency feigned ignorance but insisted on transferring her. I refused as she was psychologically unstable. I informed MOM & they transferred her to Mongolia. She still needs 3-monthly blood test & medication in a country like Mongolia. Next β€œfree” replacement came with agency fees. This time, the agency boss raised her salary without knowing that her staff told me adifferent number. She also told me a different reason for previous employer’s termination. The β€œBEST” part - I was told she was 52 or 53 years old. Biodata stated 1965 as year of birth. I was given a smudgy photocopy of work permit. I happened to check 3 days ago. MOM email - year of birth 1958. She’s almost 60 years old!!! She’s much more cheerful than previous helper but imagine her mental faculties & perhaps more undisclosed health conditions.she’s supposed to be a college grad. The agency showed me Dec employment history when I interviewed her in Jan. Later I found out, she was employed for 2 weeks in Jan & was fired. I employed her from Feb to April. They should have shown me Jan employment history. MANY agencies do that if the FDW was hired for less than a month. Have filed a compliant with MOM. This agency has the audacity to forge biodata & prob has been getting away with forfeiting maid insurance refunds by ignorant expats. The insurer issues Cheque refunds to Aatas, not to the employer.

I was offered a Filipina helper and informed of Agency fees & that the helper had 1 month loan that had to be paid upfront. When my husband went to the agency to sign the papers that evening (a day ago) he was informed that the helper had a $2400 loan that had to be paid upfront. As it was not included in the written contract what would happen to the $2.4K upfront salary paid if the helper ran off or refused to transfer and insisted to go home, I asked to include a clause in the written contract, indicating that the remaining part of the $2.4K upfront salary paid would be refunded if the helper ran off or if the helper insisted on going home & refused to transfer or that the $2.4K loan be paid through monthly deduction of the helper's salary earned, which would be paid to the agency directly. I was told by an extremely high handed, arrogant and rude woman, who sounded like a Filipina, named Bingle that such a clause was not in the contract and that their helpers were not like that and that she could guarantee so. I told her that I was prepared to pay but on condition that the above clause was included in the contract or the loan be deucted monthly from the helper's salary earned but she said she "didnt feel like" letting me have the helper and was extremely smug and rude about it. Please be careful when dealing with this agency as inclusion of a clause for refund of upfront salary paid in the above circumstances is necessary and absolutely reasonable in such circumstances and refusal to include such a clause or to accept monthly deduction from the helper's salary earned speaks for itself.

Ms Lee Siow Qi from Aatas Employment Agency is very helpful and I really appreciate that she made a lot of effort to help me find a suitable helper especially during the current situation when it is difficult to bring in helpers. I appreciate her attentiveness, and really pleasant nature. I do recommend seeking her assistance at Aatas Employment Agency.

I’ve worked with Bingle from AATAS for many years for hiring good honest helpers. She is kind and tries to keep the girls safe and stands by them in the case of bad employers. The girls she provides are always professional. I have 3 small boys and so it’s critical that the girls are capable and trustworthy. I explain my exact needs and the working contract and she makes sure that the girls understand and make the choice themselves whether they want to work. The result is a much more harmonious environment for our family. We have also asked for her expertise in renewals, overseas visits and transfers and been very happy. I have recommended the agency repeatedly and am not hesitant to do so again.

VERY SHADY! Lee quoted me $1888 for a transfer helper, however I came to know that her colleague Lina quoted an acquaintance of mine for $1488. Nevertheless, before knowing that, we interviewed a Myanmar transfer and found her suitable. Profile online states 2-4 off days and we specifically told her we can only give 2 due to our nature of work. During interview, the helper seems reluctant to take just 2 off days. I told her to discuss with Lee, no pressure and after the interview, I said if she doesn't want to take 2 off days, we'll give her a miss. Initially, Lee requested why not go for 3 off days, I said no. Then she said how about $800 for 2 off days. The helper had 4 years experience in SG and Lee mentioned her current is $700 (not sure how true, seems high). I told her I think we don't want to force the off days on the helper if she's that reluctant. After which Lee came back just mins later saying helper likes us and she's willing to go for $750 2 off days. We were supposed to have a face to face interview with her few days later and meanwhile, my husband saw the exact same profile in another agency and enquired the fees which was a good few hundred dollars lower. We were very upfront and told the agency about it hoping to negotiate a little. The night before our face to face interview with the helper, Lee suddenly without warning said helper is not keen anymore. I asked why and she ridiculously said helper mentioned meetup is not necessary so she is no longer keen. Guess what's the true story? I don't bother to find out though but engage at your own risk. Such unethical and unprofessional acts is really a waste of my time.

Had a good experience with Ms Bingle of AATAS, even though I didn’t manage to get a helper in the end. She helped me for many weeks to find a transfer helper and sent me many bio-data. While my domestic situation changed and we didn’t have to hire in the end, she was prompt to return my deposit paid earlier. Will recommend.

Bingle handled my cases for matching domestic helper for me in the past 5 years. She is very familiar with the admin. and documentation processes so she is very efficiently in settling all the paper works that this made me hassle free. I recommend her and AATAS if anyone who is looking for Filipino domestic helper.
