β β β β β New menu and WOW - it's great. The 3 fish appetiser is amazing, new fish donburi sets are great. I liked this place before but it was getting a bit boring... However, now it's like an old good place that just got refreshing and better. Well done!!!

β β β β β Have been here a few times and was never disappointed with the food. Ordered Wagyu Stamina Don with Foie Gras, Chicken Nanban Don & 3 Kinds Sashimi this time. The dons were pretty good, but honestly the sashimi was the best! Each slice was fresh and thick, which is really worth it for $12.80 :-)

β β β β β So good!! The pork was super tender and soft and not overly sweet, while the sashimi was super fresh and sliced thick enough too! Visited on a sat lunch, was crowded but didnt have to wait long for the food to be served. Will definitely be back to try the other dons.
Edit: 2nd visit and dropped to 4 stars. I'm not too sure why it didnt come with miso soup and sides this time round. Wondering if it was missed out or it is only for lunch. Was very satisfied with the sashimi as it was thick cut and very fresh, but sadly disappointed with the squid as the sauce was way too much and making it overly sweet. The squid was actually cooked to perfection though.. not too chewy. I will still go back again to try more mains and hopefully give back the 1 star again.

β β β β β Maybe there is a stand in kitchen crew. The food is a far cry from the Vivo branch. Even the way the food is prep seems different- our chicken / pork seems to be prep in advance and then reheated via pan fried or microwaved. And thereβs hardly sauce on top although it tasted salty. Will not be coming again even if we are now living nearer to Jem than Vivo.
One word of caution for the owner- with an open space open-open dine-in your staff do need to watch out for patrons to ensure no free riders who eat and go without paying ?

β β β β β Late lunch after 2pm on a public holiday, no queue. Scan menu to order. Like the ability to add salad $2 to the dons which come with miso soup (seaweed, tofu & clams). The 3 kinds buta jyu $23 bbq pork - good flavourful fats and the wagyu suji don - tender beef stew $18.90 were the preferred ones. Wagyu stamina Don - grilled beef $23.90 was ok too but a little tougher...

β β β β β Used to love it, but feels that the standard has dropped. The meat seems over tenderizer till it doesn't taste like meat anymore. Come mainly for their Foie Gras, luckily the Foie Gras still ok.

β β β β β Visited on a Sat for dinner. Ordering is done via the QR code. Had the pork bowl, Australian wagyu bowl & salmon sashimi. The pork was very tender with a rich flavour from the marinade. Beef was way too tough and not worth it. 10/10 would not order again as there are better places for beef. Service is pleasant.
