Good place to sit and relax, visited when not so busy so easy to choose good comfortable spot. Menu has Asian and western varieties plus good happy hour drinks. Food is good quality and service is friendly

Mimi the manager, anyhow set the rules AFTER I’ve open a bottle and paid for it. (1) 1 month validity when everywhere else is at 6 to 12 months. Go to No 5 for one year validity guys. Yeap, while we do finish our bottle within a month as a regular, such policies makes this place like a pariah low class establishment. (2) Charge for mixers. $10 for 2 pitchers of ginger ale. Unbelievable!!! Only the first 2 mixers during opening bottle day is free. This is not stated anywhere in their menu or as T&C! Acid Bar is the only bar I’ve been where they charge for mixers other than water and sofa hahaha… (3) None of the above terms and conditions are stated anywhere on their menu. It’s more like Mimi, the Manager, who made it up on the fly and even the staffs is unaware and followed her instructions. When I question them, they will check with Mimi. (4) So I told Mimi this; no where else’s in Singapore they doing this and there’s such T&C is NOT stated anywhere. So, I told Mimi, sure go ahead, charge me $10 unfairly and I will pay, BUT I will not return as a customer. I will gladly open bottles in your neighbouring competitors. Penny wise pound foolish is an understatement, Avoid this place if you opening bottles. They are into selling beers. Go to No 5 for cocktails and bottles. Acid Bar cocktails are watered down.. Alley bar and Acid bar is under the same boss, share same menu. We were regulars at both. Food menu changed and now is sub standard. We don’t mind sub-standard food as that’s the kitchen staff issue, what we mind is a Manager who makes rules on the fly and it’s T&C not stated anywhere before a customer order a bottle of over $200+.

I love this place. I was there a few times and definitely will come over again. The selection of cocktails is excellent; you can find both classics and local signature specialties. Spirits used for cocktails are better-ranked labels with a good reputation and high quality. I had their whiskey sour, old-fashioned on Buffalo Trace, and signature Rikshaw Sazerac. It tasted pretty good! During the happy hours, you can get 1 for 1. The selection of food is not that wide; it is not a dining place. But from I had everything tasted ?. Menu divided into hot/cold sides. I had lobster roll (very good), tartes with caviar and pita with hummus and baba ganoush. Nice place to spend afternoon!

Bad experience ever, we came early about 6pm to have our dinner. This is the first time we came here just for the live band, I already asked the waiter what time is the live band start, they said 8:30pm, but after we finished the food, still have beverage on the table, waiters keep disturbing us by asking do you want to order some more food or drinks. after I told them no need, still have more waiters come and asked, always interrupted our talking. At least 8 times. their purpose is just chasing us to leave as soon as possible. the last waiter also quite rude and black face. never come back again.

They didn’t inform me I had to take 1 for 1 happy hour beers at the same time. My 2nd beer just sat in the warm weather while I drank my first. Very poor service.

Place with nice ambience along the Somerset mrt line, food menu had changed now..and More for the peranankan lovers..It was pretty good for the kway pie ti..with mushrooms and yam fillings. The zucchini fries are very "munchable ", goes well with the beers.

Nice corner place in one of the corners in orchard!! Good one to have some nice drinks and finger food. We ordered truffles fries and calamari. Calamari was really good, a must try!! Nice and cozy place to sit both inside and outside, outside is good if the weather is nice. Inside is cosy too !! For desserts I order Tiramisu which was great, although I didn't like pistachio topping. Staff is nice and friendly, service was good, price wise I would say it's on a high side!! We paid some 111$ for two, and the order was above mentioned plus 3 glass of beers!!

Everything was great, they have a great selection of spirits and the truffle fries was crispy and easy to share. Be warned about the 1-for-1 though: it only applies to the same exact drink. The poster both online and in-store did not state that - other places usually do. Wished they could be more transparent about it.
