They only sell one dish, the wa kuih ($2.50). The kuih reminded me of that used in chwee kueh, thought slightly firmer but still very smooth and satisfying. I enjoyed the strong garlic flavour. A great tea time snack!

It's pretty good, the taste is alot lighter than what I used to eat as a child. I don't remember about the onions and garlic, I'm not complaining. I wish the taste is more heavily on the savory side but texture is good.

Must mix with the chili and garlic to bring the flavourful taste. Average wa kuey in terms of ingredient. Can taste mushroom, dried shrimp, fried onion. The kuey is quite non-flavourful at first. Gravy taste sweet. Not a garlic person, so hesitate to mix in garlic. But garlic and chili overturn the taste of kuey and become very much nicer!

I like it as it is, though some might find the taste light. You can still mix with chilli and garlic to add more oomph to it. The mushrooms and onions are flavourful and complement the kueh well.

It looks good for sure, but tastes a lot less flavourful than I had expected it to be, honestly. And it's probably a snack I'll buy but not crave for. One thing though, go easy on the minced fresh garlic when you do buy it. I added too much of that and ended up with a slight sore throat. Chilli sauce is good; in fact, this would have been a lot less flavoursome if you don't eat it with the chilli sauce. So be sure to add a dollop when you eat this.

Was not particularly impressed with the wah kueh. The sauce was not memorable. Tasted ordinary. The kueh though was smooth with a good texture. It was $2.50 a portion. I would not return for more.

This stall only sell one thing, Wah kuih. Taste wise, I don't find it fascinating. It's like chwee kueh but in a bigger bowl with different kind of topping. Actually the taste of the brown sauce reminds me of Lor Mee, maybe because of the minced garlic and chilli mixture. Haha.

First time trying 碗粿, not a bad experience. Has onions, mushrooms (and dried shrimps if I remember correctly?). Went very well with the garlic paste, chilli sauce and gravy. Texture feels like a firmer chwee kueh. Can understand why it costs $2.50 per serving but it won’t be sufficient for a meal.
