Never had the chance to try the 生煎, was sold out. But 4* based off the Xiao long BAO and wantan soup. Soup was nice, but Xiao long BAO was just ok, nothing amazing.

If you ask me, I prefer this store to the other more famous outlet. Xiao Long Bao is bursting with the rich and flavoursome juice. Skin is also not too thick. Chive (Gu cai) dumplings is also nice (no photo here) as I gobbled it up before realizing photo not taken.

Xlb steamed way b4 serving it to the customer and not steam upon order. It ends up being very dry as a result and luke warm which is quite a disgrace to be even have a shanghai tagged to it. The redemption cames from the jian bao which is quite balanced and good.

Tried the xiao long bao and prawn fried buns. Xiao long bao was cold when served, and there is not much soup in it. It was quite disappointing. However, the fried buns gave me a pleasant surprise. It was my first time trying and it was warm and juicy. Juicier than the xiao long bao. It was really good and I would get it again.

Xiao Long Bao - $4.80 for 6 pieces Original Pan Fried Bun - $3.00 for 3 pieces XLB was warm, not hot. PFB was freshly cooked and piping hot. Both taste pretty good and I really enjoyed PFB the most. It was really juicy. XLB is okay, also juicy. I do wish I got more PFB. However, be prepared to wait for up to an hour since they cook in batches and service was a tad slow (good trick to build up queue). But unlike some of the reviews here, the aunty / lady serving were friendly. I did come specifically to try it but I'd say just come if you are in the area. Don't have to make a trip down specifically for it.
