β β β β β I am writing this with reference to my experience flying ANA from KL to Chicago via Narita. On 11/10 the super typhoon Hagibis caused all flights through Narita to be cancelled. An email was sent but still, I was at the O'Hare airport at 8 am hoping for more updates on the matter.Departure time was supposedly 11 am that day. I saw a group of six worried Japanese gentlemen n a small family of three looking equally uncertain about what to do next. Regrettably, there was only a signboard saying all flights that day had been cancelled. There was not one officer at the ANA counters to offer assistance on the situation. When clarity was needed there was none. I felt abandoned. Phone calls to ANA went unanswered. Like the other passengers, I was left on my own to find my way home. What sort of professionalism is this? Is there no compassion for your customers? You guys abandoned your passengers in our time of need. Your lack of proper actions under the circumstances is shameful. We are not even talking about financial compensation for the cancelled flight yet. Simply not good enough, ANA.
