Amuse Dessert Co - 73 Duxton Rd

I’m actually between a 3 and 4 score. I chanced upon it when I walked past it. If I was on the opp side of the road it is more noticeable. Honestly I walked past it without realising it is a dessert place. The iskrim flavours are pretty unique but I must say they are an acquired taste. Might need to experiment with a larger audience and not just amongst your friends and fans. I ordered the Truffle Basque Cheesecake. At the start it’s still quite novel and the brain was adjusting to eating truffle as an iskrim flavour. However hard to finish to the end as it is quite a strong combination. The burnt cheesecake taster was almost nonexistent as you continue to eat the ice-cream. Ordered the strawberry tart as well in case the truffle basque cheesecake did not turn out nice lol. Another unique taste as they added cinnamon into the mix so there’s some spicy note to it but still ok only lah. Service staff need to be more proactive in introducing the flavours esp if you see blur customers like me.

Helpful staff. Had left my mobile phone behind and he was quick to realise and kept for me. Besides service, they do have different Japanese tea and you add water to prepare on your own. Dessert is good.

Quiet little dessert spot with an interesting range of ice cream, desserts and drinks. The desserts were pretty good though. Tea was pretty good as well with a little intro card with instructions. I tried lapsang souchong milk tea ice cream with my brownie. Can't really taste the lapsang souchong very clearly at first though but the combination with the brownie complemented itself. The decor was quite cute too so quite a nice place to chill in.

Located along the same stretch as Crucycle and Lululemon, the cafe is empty on a Saturday late noon. Awesome quiet place for catch ups. 100% Chocolat: chocolatey, decadent piece of mousse base cake. Suggest to share with friends. Waffles: If you are a fan of fluffy & crispy waffles, you have to try their waffles. Pistachio ice cream: nutty & aromatic, very decent scoop.

Stumbled upon this cleanly decorated cafe for desserts. The ice cream and coffee were not bad, just that the price point was a bit high. The ice cream was not too sweet as well. (I remembered the choux + ice cream + coffee came up to $20+ a person.)

Was around the area for dinner heard about this newly opened cafe serving desserts decided to give it a try. Was expecting it to be crowded but was quite empty and got seats immediately. They do serve quite a variety of desserts like pastries, macaroons, waffles and ice cream. The drinks selection was decent and the teas seem quite fancy. Ordered a tea, macaroon and waffles to try. Food was average, I didn't expect the waffles to be cut into strips like that which I dislike, but it was fluffy and crispy on the edges. Also ordered the injeolmi flavoured ice cream because it was the one unique flavour that stood out. It was rather normal eating alone but was quite a good combination with the waffles. Not sure why but tried the lavender caramel macaroon after the waffles and there wasn't much taste to it. If you are a sweet tooth person this might probably be an option to check out if you are in the area.

I love their Truffle Basque Cheesecake Ice Cream. It has that sticky stretchy consistency almost like Turkish Ice cream. Wonder if they added salep..♡ overall price on the high side if you don't mind...

Tried the truffle cheese ice cream is so so good! Great texture and mouth feel. A very well put together corner in the wall, great design and chill vibes. Worth a check out!
