★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw a long queue during lunch and decided to go for it. Ordered pork chop, bitter gourd, tau gay and egg- all together for just $3.20. I almost couldn’t believe it?!? Taste wise nothing amazing to shout about, but nothing that fell below expectations. Just thought that the pork chop could be abit thicker. Overall- excellent value for money curry rice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall, i think the curry rice was okay. The rice, on that day when i went, was mushy (probably too much water was used to cook the rice) and the curry was only average. I find the fried chicken was not bad, quite nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to give this curry rice a try today. All i can it got home cooked food feel and most importantly its very cheap. I paid $3.20 for my meal. Got chicken cutlet, pork chop,veg and egg. What a bargain! Will come back again soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unlike other cai png stalls, the food here has a home cooked taste to it. Perhaps it’s because they’re prepared cheerfully by the jovial aunty at the stall.
My personal favourites are usually the stirred fried cabbage, steamed minced pork patty, steamed egg (with salted/century egg) and last but not least, their sambal sotong! Just note that it’s numbingly spicy. It was a sweet gesture that aunty advised me to drink warm water instead of a cold drink if the sotong was too spicy. ☺️

It’s not easy to find 豇豆炒蛋 nowadays.
