Assurance Medicare Clinic & Surgery - 370 Tanjong Katong Rd

Visited for stomach pain. Was turned away from clinic would not accept female patients without a chaperone. Their reason: to prevent litigation issues.

Went for vaccination and the doctor/receptionist was extremely rude and grumpy. Informed him that second vaccination appointment might have to be changed due to work commitments and he complained saying it would disrupt the entire schedule. No bedside manners, service was abrupt with zero care for patients. Average consultation time for other patients was about 1-2 minutes. Not particularly..... Assuring. Come here at your own risk.

Worst doctor ever.... so rude and self assuming. He is also his own counter nurse. Had the worst experience as a patient talking to a doctor who doesnt want to help. Felt so intimidated and attacked in just 2 minutes there.

I went down to Assurance Clinic early this morning for my booster shot and I waited for a short while before the shutters were open. I greeted a gentleman and he was obviously not happy to see me so early. I did the inpro and found the processing abit confusing as I need to download a scanner to scan the QR code. The gentleman was impolite and his tone was rude as I requested for some assistance. He looked as me as if I own him a blardy living. Fortunately, a kind Indian fella in the queue told me what I needed to do. Just before my injection I ask the gentleman, " May I have your name?" He was reluctant to give me his name and showed me his door before my injection that he was Dr Koh. I seriously should think that as a medical professional he should be kind and pleasant and if he got up on the wrong side of the bed, he should just get over himself. If he is planning to get more clients I am certainly never ever going to return to that clinic. I will advise my friends and relatives never take your booster shots there and to avoid this clinic at all cost.

Seeing the 1 star reviews here, I totally agree that the doctor (male, middle aged, glasses) needs to work on his EQ. 2 stars as vaccine booster was given efficiently but definitely not coming back or recommending

I took my pfizer booster shot in this clinic on 28th Jan 2022. Attending doctor was polite and soft spoken. He didn't have a receptionist at that time, yet he was equally accommodating and helpful.

Same experience as others in this review. Went for my booster shot today and the male doctor was rude and has an attitude. Very unprofessional. I will not trust him if I were ill based on this level of professionalism when giving just a simple vaccination booster shot. After looking through the other reviews, i notice that maybe there are more than one doctor that works at the clinic. To clarify, my review is for a middle-age male (about 40-50 years old) doctor wearing glasses.

I went for a supervised ART test and had a very unpleasant experience at the clinic. During the consultation, the doctor did not seem willing to see me when he attended to me. It felt like I was being interrogated with the types of questions he was asking and he also made it seem like I owed him a living. He even told me at one point that I was wasting the clinic's test kit. When he had to perform the ART test on me, it felt as if he was intentionally using an unnecessary amount of force. I would not recommend this clinic & would definitely not come here again.
