★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As F&B places expand to multiple outlets, it’s common for standards to drop. Here, Au Croissant has managed to defy traditional wisdom - the standards plummeted without expansion. The croissant was shockingly bad. I never knew pastry could be too tough for a knife to cut through. And yet they recently added new pastries; better to focus on maintaining the old standards before offering something new.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edible. High price point for what it’s worth. Come after 6:30 PM if you really just want to try to get 30% off.
Buttery but not flaky enough. If you’re looking for good croissants, you’re better off checking out Bread & Hearth or Paul’s.
This is the second time I tried and my verdict is not coming back, not recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the pastry, I suppose the comments are same for other patrons, probably by slightly heating it up it’ll be great, but croissants are crispy at the same time harder to cut at base. But it taste great nonetheless.

Great taste and flaky texture on the outside with chewy dough on the inside.. ate one when it was warm and also another overnight and the latter still tastes good... however at this price.. I rather go tiong bahru bakery w free butter...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was a deal till 4pm for croissants (buy 3 for $10) and purchase of 2 hand-crafted drinks gets you a slice of cake for free.
Croissants were tasty, and coffee was good as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited the cafe when there was a promotion for the croissants, the taste is decent although the price is a little steep. Do try the chocolate croissant as the flavour is rich! However, the cakes were only average as it was a little dry. Overall, the ambience is good and quiet and the service is quite good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for a proper croissant (flaky, buttery, impeccable layers), this might not be the place for you. If you're looking for dessert pastries with tasty fillings, that's when I'd bring you here. The chocolate is nice and smooth, not overly sweet and the lemon cream cheese has a nice zest. The deal was sweetened by 3pcs for $10 if you buy it before 4 PM. Had the cream cheese danish as well, would buy that again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Croissants here are on the slightly higher end of the price point. Tried their Curry one, Apple Danish and Almond Croissant.
Both the savoury ones really disappointed me as it barely had any flavour, and the curry filling was extremely dry.
The almond croissant however, was quite nice and had a not-too-sweet custard filling in the middle! Really enjoyed that. I’d say, go for the sweet ones! Not the savoury ones ?
