Exceptional Good Food. Good portion. The set comes w/o rice. Affordable.

For a good 5 minutes, had to try to get attention of staff walking about managing delivery orders before they sent someone to the counter to take our orders. Not a good start to our meal. Visited with the intention to use my ecapitamall vouchers but was informed their scanner broke down, even hard copy vouchers also cannot scan. They continued to disappoint. Maybe should have taken this as a sign to eat somewhere else instead. Read on. From where we sat, we could see into their kitchen/prep area. Spotted many unsafe practices which sent shivers down our spine. More points deducted. Food arrived at reasonable speed, not sure why the table which ordered after us got their food first but we didn't have to wait too long more. Although the grilled tilapia was a good size, it was lukewarm. Disappointing yet again. They did not serve "regular" chicken, only Giant Legs. But they turned out quite normal size?! You don't get to call your chicken legs giant unless they are like those served by SAF cookhouses! Only towards the end of our meal did we realize my dad's tea wasn't served up yet. Tried to wave to get the attention of the staff sat at a table nearest to us, but she seemed to think her phone was more important. Observed her eyes darting from her phone to us and to the kitchen direction and back at us, then she frowned before begrudgingly coming over to ask us what was the matter. She apologized for forgetting the tea when she eventually served it, but sorry first impression already failed. But to give credit where it is due, we really enjoyed the tahu telor, gado gado, es teler and iced chendol. Pity these were not their mains. We visited this outlet because our usual one became really lousy. This outlet is still relatively better so we may come again, but if it continues deteriorating then we'll have to settle our ayam penyet cravings somewhere else.

Grilled chicken is tasty and flavorful-I would choose grilled chicken over fried chicken any day. Beef rendang is a bit more sour than the normal ones that I had. Overall, a decent meal.

The Ayam Penyet here is spectacular. Perfectly crispy on the outside, and soft and tender in the inside. The oxtail meat they serve in the Oxtail Soup is big compared to other ayam penyet restaurants.

The grilled chicken was tender, juicy and well seasoned. Even though the chicken with green chilli was expectedly drier, the green chilli paste takes some of the dryness away, and adds more flavour to the drier chicken.

Fast service and good food. We went in a group of 11 people and the reataurant was able to accomdate us and a pram. Love the food!

Not too bad at all.. For least then $30.. Can have grilled chicken (2pieces) rendang beef and spicy kang kong with 2rice.. I like the beef rendang.. Nice!!!
