★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of Singapore’s first Australian/ European style coffee shops. Arguably now resting on the laurels of their “first to market” success and quietly being outdone in terms of quality by more recent additions to Singapore’s cafe scene. Decent enough baked goods, decent coffee, good pies, great pizza (except for the bizarre monthly specials) Loses points because the croissants, baguettes and other pastries lack that lovely fresh “crunch” which you get in a proper French bakery; and they really have no excuses at the prices they charge!!
In response to the response from Baker and Cook below. If you have to put an expensive, supposedly fresh croissant into the oven to make it crunch then its not a quality, fresh product and you shouldn’t be charging top dollar for it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cafe hidden at the neighborhood of namly. Worth a visit for a nice cup of coffee and a simple baguel to start the day. Friendly staff and great service too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty much since Third their last manager left, this entire place has gone downhill. Soggy tarty tasting pizza, poor customer service and basically a total lack of attention to anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the no. 7 pizza (truffle mushrooms), Spanish omelette and truffle fries. True to sourdough expectations, the pizza crust was chewy on the inside and crisp on the outside; however, the soggy middle (a common issue with plank!) was a letdown, and somehow the mushrooms lacked flavour. Spanish omelette for $17++ is ridiculous, it's just.... An omelette... With a few slices of dry bread.... And some simple ingredients thrown into the omelette. Truffle fries were yummy (salty, but we like salty haha) and decent portion.

Not enough caramelisation flavour or crispiness on the outside.
Ambience was nice and chill on a Wed afternoon, would be a nice place to hang out and get some work done.
