Never order their set menu. Can't believe the portions are so little. It's better to order ala carte or buffet. The portion are much more suitable for 2 pax.

Buffet A-la carte style. Not really value for money , it use to be cheaper. Taste slightly above average, I only refer to this outlet on my comments. Not tried the rest except harbour front. ???BTW free parking.???Came here again on 03 Dec 2021. This round confirm the buffet so so, after eating bloated stomach. Most dishes came out using oven style. I would said just average only but for buffet I think ok . ??

There were ants in the osmanthus jelly. However, the staff said that it was not ants and said that it was the chrysanthemum ingredient. The waiting time for dishes was extremely long, about 2 hours for just a crispy duck. When asking for orders, waiters were extremely rude and had the audacity to say back customers. Overall, worse buffet ever, never ever going back again.

This restaurant should be renamed Murphy's Restaurant. Any food that can go wrong, went wrong. It’s so bad that I don’t even know where to start, the food tasted worst than most if not all the food court and hawker I’ve been, and I’m paying a premium price to wasted calories. Worst part is, I’ve to do my own clearing of tables, they don’t clear your tables, they just keep serving food, and when I ask them to clear, they always reply “ later, this trolley is for serving food”. It’s the first time I actually wanted to start a list for blacklisted restaurant that I would recommend people not to visit. Look at the scallop that I shared, frozen and dry, so is all their fish. They use very cheap ingredient for all their food, including dim sum, the siew mai at my home area food court taste better than this. The only that that was good is their char siew, and that only. Like seriously, if you’re looking for a bad experience, this is the place to dine.

Use grab - > self pick up to save 20%. Both times we walk over, Staff was too busy to explain anything. Only thing we got was the menu. Alamak. But since Ban Heng is an old good brand, we just Hiong and ordered! ? Crab 900g+- Received it as per photos! Astonished there’s 2 crabs (couldnt piece up the “bodies” though. Spiciness level: normal (And Mild sweet) So much sauce that we literally ‘drinking’ it. The taste is good but if you are the same like me who don’t fancy sweet kind of chilli ? crabs, this is not your cup of tea. • Only thing I didn’t like? Reminded once when we were there and reminded again when we were picking up.. But they still barely clamp all the parts . We don’t have tools here in the hotel. ? #poorteeth Overall, the price is good if you use self pick up. About $78 for this box. #meaty

Cons: Taste of food was mediocre for most other than prawn and fish dishes, portion was ok for most. For a table of 10, the crabs looks like 3 larger flower crabs size (picture as shown, based on spoon size). There is mandatory of $3/pax for tea/nuts/towels, which comes up to $30/table before gst and service charge. Pros; Staffs are mostly very prompt even though they’re busy. Larger variety of offerings but its quality vs qty depending on where you go.

Had our CNY reunion meal here, no issues with the food or service overall, unlike the many other appalling reviews (which made us a little concerned). Food was fresh, not the most “tasty” in terms of intensity, but after all this is a Teochew restaurant, so the modest flavours were appropriate and expected. Service was satisfactory as well. Only thing that left a slightly sour taste was the attitude / tone of the (male) staff taking my reservation. He sounded rather impatient and pushy towards the more expensive set meals - which is understandable, but still he could’ve done it in a less blunt manner.

One of the favorite Chinese style restaurant that fits to me and my family taste gene. They offered two types of buffet menu styles that allow patron to eat all you can for a fixed price. They also have promotion of 3 paying adults for 1 free person which means a total of 4 person can enjoy for the price of 3 persons enjoyable for the price of 3 persons. A good option to choose for customers or patrons living in the north area.
