Beef noodle beef is hard and chewy.
Worst is the service staff which has no interest in serving you, missed out orders and serve your order to another table..
Most people that patron here are just mainly because of long queue at all other restaurants.

β β β β β Food and price tags on menu may look reasonable... BUT! Please stay away from these traps! TL;DR: utterly misleading menu + bad food and service.
- Food portion is very little. Doesn't even look anything like the sample images on menu.
- Taste is way below average. You can get better rice and noodles everywhere else! Do not expect them to taste anything like Taiwan or East Asia or whatever.
- None of the beer promo is applicable on PH & eve of PH. Well fair enough BUT they didn't bother stating this on menu, not even on fine print (on the contrary the menu only states "happy hour EVERYDAY before 8pm"!)
- Busy and inattentive staffs. Serving speed is slow.
- The only reason why it is still crowded or even long queue: simply because all other restaurants in the area are full house. This is unfortunately the very last option available.

β β β β β Located in the middle of Orto - literally! Bistro serving Taiwanese style items. Ordered their signature braised pork rice and braised pork noodle in claypot (ζ²η
²θιΌ η²). Tasted nothing like the type I had in Taiwan - more like local braised pork, amid a sweeter version. The claypot noodle was a little too salty though.
Friendly service helmed by the hard working Thai manager. Serves beer towers and other alcoholic drinks up to 1030pm (phase 2 COVID-19). Opens until 2 am. Great for late night supper since you canβt drink after 1030pm anyway.

β β β β β The lu rou fan was above average but other fried stuff like spam fries was a downer, salty and spicy. Maybe if youβre there for beer then it will be a suitable snack. Service was questionable. Was at the entrance for awhile and no staff attended until we called out to them over the loud music. Servers were responsive and polite but seem to lack the proactiveness. Nice view of the lake though.

β β β β β 5 stars for the polite service and the food was served quickly despite being extremely short staffed and a full house with a queue on a weekday. The ambience was also nice and lively.
However the food was an absolute letdown, except for the lu rou rice. The loh Su fen looks nice but was so salty and flat taste, with the same mince meat used in the lu rou rice. The beef noodles was meh, lacked the depth that I'd expect from a standard bowl of Taiwanese beef noodles. Claypot chicken rice lacked taste and portions of ingredients and was a bit boring, with literally chicken only and none of the usual extra ingredients that one might expect.
There's an array of sides/snacks that would go well with their beers on offer, and we tried the fried pork collar with Mala powder and their wings, both were fine :)

Tea taste in Thai Ice milk tea tasted bad. Portion sizes are quite ok. Little to no options for vegetarians.
