Helpful staff. Decent choice of affordable shoes but design all too similar.

Visited this morning, attended to by a male Chinese staff who was extremely rude and was more interested in talking to a particular customer than others. Felt like we were interrupting. Not bothered to answer questions. Horrendous service, you should sack him.

Had a very bad experience with one of the staff there on 15 Jul '18 at 12pm. He is the only male staff there i believe. Let's call him L. My grandfather was trying a pair of shoes and the shoes were loose. My mother requested for another pair of the same model for him, just in case the pair of shoes L brought to him might not be in good condition. L insisted that the shoes he brought to my grandfather were brand new, and that it was my grandfather's feet that had issues, not the shoes. Despite my mother requesting time and again for another pair, he refused and insisted on his own logic that it was my grandfather's feet that were the problem, not the shoes. Afterwards, he just walked away, refusing to serve us any longer. In the end, it was a female staff who helped us to get another pair of that same shoes(same model and same size), and this time there no issues, which means that the previous pair(despite being "brand new") had some issues in its condition already. In other words, L was simply being Lazy and instead of helping us as a service staff, he tried to lessen his own workload by blaming my grandfather's feet. So to BATA: Pls tell this male staff of yours that he is a service staff and it is his job to serve customers' requests. Even more so when we have been talking to him politely. Otherwise, i cannot imagine another customer experiencing his horrible services again.

Shop assistant Ms Ikah is alone in shop yet she serves with lots of passion n patient; she never get angry when i requested for different sizes of shoes to try. She is capable of handling more than 10 customers in her shop n serve with beautiful smile. Bata should be proud of having front liner like Ms Ikah with excellent customer service n passion. She should deserve many pats on her shoulder n llots of applause from her management ???????????????
