Regularly visit and love both their prawn noodle and ngoh hiang. One of my favourite prawn noodles stall. As with all prawn mee stalls, soup is refillable. Soup is thick and nice. Service is fast. Both noodles and ngoh hiang comes really quickly and wait time is minimal. Parking not really available nearby usually.

Went there about 9am its already full house with a short queue. Manage to get a sit though, after 10min. The place sells prawn noodle and fried fitters. Order the regular dry and soup prawn noodle and some fried fitters. The prawn soup taste good, prawn smell is not too strong. I like the dry or chilli one cause it is not so spicy. The fried fitter taste great; the ingredients is fresh, love the prawn cake. The tea and kopi are good too.

It was worth the 2 year wait. The broth was thick and rich with flavours from the prawn head and I'm sure the sweetness came from pork bones. Even as I made my way home, I could get hints of taste of the broth on my lips. I usually worry that stalls stinge on their sambal but it was just right, coating the noodles and the prawns and at the end, you had a nice residue of sambal with the fried crispy onions. The sambal was not hot at all and the flavour of the hai bee (dried prawn) was perfectly balanced. If you're like me and need to have the chilli kick, you have the option of dried chilli powder or just the chilli padis and they were generous when I asked for extra chilli. I just like my prawn noodles with prawns and you have the option of adding pork. There are 3 price range and the only difference is the size of the prawn. I opted for medium sized prawns for $9.50 and small bowl starts at $6.50. Hint: get your table number at the entrance before heading to the counter for your order.

This place sells one of the best prawn noodle in Singapore, their standard has maintained over many years. The prawn noodle broth is made from prawn shells and pork bones cooked over long hours, so the taste and body are quite robust. The prawns aren’t the biggest but always very fresh and cooked just right. Personally I love their pig tail, it is perfectly cooked to the right tenderness, best part of this is the pork skin is gelatinous and soft. The overall combination of various elements is further enhanced by the addition of chilli powder, an absolute must! Their ngoh hiang is quite well done too, every piece are well fried before served and the sauces complements this traditional fish very well. I always order this to go along with the prawn noodles, perfect match in my opinion. Please try if you haven’t, it is worth the trip. The queue can get pretty long during peak lunch hours but I’m sure you won’t regret it. Come try and enjoy this delicious treat!

Back after a long while. Parking is still difficult but there is a orderly queue system. Need to queue again inside the shop to place order. The Ngoh Hiang is good. The prawn noodles soup is without doubt one of the best in Singapore. However, seems to me its less flavorful compared to my past visits.

Located along a rather busy roadside, first thing you would notice is the queue that doesn't seems to end during peak hours especially Breakfast timings till Lunch time. So avoid those timings if you would prefer a shorter queue! But having said that, the queue are actually quite fast moving, and pretty much depending on the available seats (or the speed of people eating inside. ? ) Ordered a Large sized and a cup of Sourplum juice for this visit. Prawn noodle standard is still the same as a couple of years back when i last visited. Fresh prawns, thick and savoury broth! Paired with sourplum juice which is a good mix of sweetness and sourness.. Awesome. ?

Our go to place for quality prawn mee. Normal size prawns work for me though the ones in the pic are the jumbo prawns. Not the biggest I have had but definitely fresh. Can't be sure but the soup also seems to be different for the jumbo prawns. Order prawn fritters on the side to complete your meal.

TL;DR - Good place to bring your girlfriends and wives for a date. The prawns here are almost peeled so you don’t have to help them peel. I was told there's almost a queue everyday at peak hours and it's worth your calories. I had an enjoyable huge bowl of noodles with huge prawns. Very yummy and shiok. The prawns were very fresh and nice though I expect them to be already tasteless after being cooked for a long while in the broth. The broth was the bomb - very rich prawn taste. And they give you a generous serving of fiber - the beansprouts. I had iced barley and it was good too. Return again? Yes!
