Bedok Western Food - 208B New Upper Changi Rd

Stall owner was rude, fries seemed to have been twice cooked, as it was tasteless, hard and cold. But to be fair, the chicken chop itself was quite good. Not worth the price.

Decent old-school Chicken Chop that doesn't disappoint

Do NOT patronise Bedok Western Food!!! The stall owner of Bedok Western Food is extremely rude. Today was my second time buying from them. The first time I went was months ago, and since most of the stalls were closed, I bought a takeaway from him. He wasn’t in his stall at first, so I wait for 30 mins before he returned, and despite my having waited for him, he treated me with a bad attitude and quite rudely. Today, I happened to be in Bedok again, and I decided to buy from his stall, hoping it won’t be as bad as before, but I was wrong. The stall owner spoke to me in a rude and annoyed tone, and when my food was ready, I asked if there were any baked beans (because the photo showed baked beans in it). He just sarcastically asked in a nasty tone, “How much you pay? No baked beans.” and “I’m eating you go and disturb me!”. Not to mention that the chicken was only half the size it was supposed to be. I didn’t say anything at that time, but I vowed never to eat from his stall ever again. And he even dared to say, “I’m eating you go and disturb me!”?! Excuse me? If you don’t want to work or want customers to buy from you while you’re eating, then close your stall during your break time! Don’t blame your customers in that case! And furthermore, if the photo shows baked beans and the actual food doesn’t contain them, then he better get the photo right, or at least offer a replacement! If the stall owner is reading this now, I hope he’d better learn to improve his attitude unless he wants to lose customers.

Cold, hard fries. Cooked and left aside before serving. Chicken chop completely different from picture depicted on price board. Came with weird red square that seller claims to be garlic sauce. Tastes sour. Utensils/plates are tainted red from said sauce. Not value for money.

The food is nice but the uncle is nicer if you're a woman and totally rude if you're a guy. As mentioned by others he is generally a rude guy. Update: I got a little stomach ache now, not so serious. Did not argue with owner, but he was frustrated I couldn't hear him not sure if related xD Fries were cold too and generally bad experience. It's unfortunate that he has to be the one to cook nice western food here in Bedok that is affordable.

Ordered their sirloin steak cause I was craving it like any other western stall I expect a mushroom sauce but it came with a bad tasting red sauce and baked beans and the meat looks so bad it looks like fake meat totally different from the pic look super disgusting

Save ur money. Fries are cold and soggy and chicken chop is burnt on outside and barely cooked on the inside. The cucumber is as big a piece than the chicken chop. Not worth the $6.50.

Agree with 1 of the reviewer.....Anyway i very seldom only rate 1 star for food stall. This review for December 2020. I order a plate of Chicken Chop, and initially wanted a Black Pepper Sauce chicken chop, but the chinese elder lady told me don't have so i opt for it that is with white pepper sauce . And when i collected it, i don't see any pepper sauce. Well the chinese guy told me it is already marinated with it ! And to my disappointment, the chicken chop skin was quite BIG and THICK ! The meat taste was average at the best. The sauce i don't really like that weird taste. The French fries is also NOT tasty. This is my FIRST and LAST time eating this western stall @ Bedok Hawker centre.
