Nothing like a plate of traditional fried carrot cake. One of the few places that does black carrot cake. It also has the right amount of chai po. Ask for extra egg!

Right inside bedok hawker centre next to Bedok mall... Used to be very good... Recently standard a little deteriorate... The uncle no longer good, taste just missing something... Unless is his "son" (I guess is his son) the one that fried, the standard stayed a little to the salty side but better than the dad... Guess age still play a part after all...

It is now manage by the son from the uncle. They offer both white and black but no mixing. Price start from $3, $3.50 and $4 (add egg). Can opt for add prawn which charge higher also.

Tried the black carrot cake with extra egg. Not too sweet but very tasty. Esp the egg. The cake is bouncy and fresh. A bit more expensive (4$) than normal but still ok.

Nice 炒蘿蔔糕 in Singapore ?? I always ask to fried more. It takes a little bit crispy.

I think overall as a Fried Carrot Cake in a hawker centre it's acceptably above average. Price and Portion per basic plate of $3 is generous enough for hungry people. However, it really depends if the Owner is frying. If yes, it's got charred deliciously. Sometimes if the Owner is not there then it's not as nice. Of cos, it's my own honest opinion. I do return occasionally as it bring back memories of yester -years when I was a kid. ( Only support if the owner is there )

Really like this carrot cake. Very tasty and have good wok hey. Carrot cake is soft inside but crispy on the outside. Despite the queue, we got our food in less than 15 mins. Definitely worth the wait!

The carrot cake taste different at this place. I don’t really know how to explain this - the look is roughly the same as most other carrot cakes but the taste is different enough to make this place a star in my mind ?
