Waited quite long for it to be ready. I thought the rice is being fried thus the wait. However, there was no taste of rice being fried, feel like normal fluffy rice mixed with sweet chilli sauce. The chicken meat is tough and not crispy.

The queue was long. Ordered the Nasi Goreng Chicken Rice. Rice is like a cross between chicken rice and fried rice. Full of flavor. Chicken is very tender and juicy. No regrets queuing.

I would say this is the best Muslim made chicken rice I had ever tried. Both the rice of Nasi Goreng Ayam and Nasi Ayam were fragrant and fluffy, nice cooked at the right texture. The chicken was average as it was deep fried, but not dry because I of the reinforced gravy onto the chicken.

I like the rice - nice and fluffy. It is fragrant; unlike some that give rice an odd fragrance, this one's nice and light. Chicken portions are generous considering the price ?

Tried Nasi goreng ayam a few times from this stall. At $3.50, it was reasonable. The rice was good but I found the chicken to be very dry.

For halal chicken rice aka Ayam Nasi Goreng, this is as good as it gets already. Pls don’t compare with our Hainanese version, that wouldn’t be fair. So i ordered a plate of the original red version and a white one. The white one came out as fried rice so I wasn’t sure if it’s a mistake or is it that they no longer sell the white version cause i saw it on social media some time ago. (Owner, if you’re seeing this pls clarify ty.) But anw I heard the white version taste pretty similar to our Hainanese counterpart. In any case, the fried rice version was not bad as well. Not the best fried rice i’ve eaten but it’s decent enough for me to finish it. The red version though, has quite a spicy kick to it. If you’re spicy intolerant then you may not like it. But i have to say the rice is pretty fluffy and not clumpy. It’s also fragrant but not overwhelming. The chicken has a special gravy drizzled over it and taste pretty tender as well. Some say the chicken is dry but come on, this is halal chicken rice. To me this standard is considered moist already. If you frequent Muslim food you will know that most halal chicken are small and dry like their chicken suppliers are from the Sahara desert or something. Overall, I think it’s a great place for Muslims who wants to have their chicken rice cravings fulfilled!

I really don’t fancy this at all. I have wanted to try the chicken rice from this stall but the queue has always been along. However, I decided to give it a shot seeing that there was a short queue during my recent trip to the hawker centre. Food preparation was fairly quick. However, I notice that the soup was rather odd - a combination of some stock and kicap. As expected, it tasted really odd and horrible. I found that the chicken turned out to be pretty dry and the sauce that accompanied it mildly salty but offered nothing more. The rice was....really just alright. In general, it is unlikely for me to revisit. I simply don’t think it’s worth the wait, neither do I want to deprive our Muslim counterparts from enjoying the chicken rice by adding to the queue.
