Ordered the $4 one thinking they would give more ingredients but there's only 2 prawns and a bit of sotong... It's mostly noodles and a bit of chilli. There's also small bits of shell in it, which might be dangerous for small kids. It's the watery kind with more gravy so the noodles are soggy, which I don't mind except it doesn't have much flavour :/

This stall used to be beside the popular cendol stall at the Bedok Hawker centre. Used to eat it pretty often last time. This is my first time eating after they shifted to the renvoted hawker centre. Sad to say, I was utterly dissapointted with the food. Noodle was bland. Seems like the standard has drop tremendously.

Very generous portion. Didn't have high expectations cos there wasn't any queue and the uncle scooped up a plate of Hokkien Mee from an existing batch. I was pleasantly surprised by their flavourful Hokkien Mee was the wet style version. The stock used is very good. The sotong is rather tender. This is soooo much better than the average Hokkien Mee. Definitely will buy again if I'm in the area.

Went to eat today. Taste so great after 2 months of bedok hawker renovation. Worth the wait and queue. Will sure go back for more. Thumb up!!

Delicious hokkien mee, inconsistent standards. How good the hokkien mee tastes depends on who is cooking. There is this guy aged 30 to 40 plus with specs who man the store, and he is extremely misery about the chilli. If you ask for more chilli, he will just give you slightly more and say "alot already". If not for this guy, I would have given 4 stars. Not sure why he needs to be so "niao" about the chilli. I think it would have been so much better if he is more generous. Its just chilli!

I think overall the taste is quite average. I bought the $4 portion last night. Chilli given is too little. Would prefer if they give more chilli sauce. Date of review: 12 Jul 2021

Quite average taste, friendly service. Ordered $6 takeaway for dinner. Should have realized abt food quality when there was no queue. A person just before me ordered 2 plates, and we both got served very quickly from a prepared batch. Only had 3 prawns and small bits of squid.

Visited on a weekday, the uncle was rather friendly and service was also quick as the cook whipped up another 3 portions rather quickly. First impression, the dish did not have the wokhey smell. The noodles though were cooked right did not carry much flavor. The alkaline noodles overpowered the prawn base they had use. The chili helped to elevate the taste of the dish but it did not do much.
