Best Italian restaurant in Singapore

A	Angel Tan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t feel like it deserves the 4.7 stars on Google reviews. I’ll likely not be back. Pretty disappointed as I dined here years ago and remember the food being good. Details below ☹️ Pictured: - Pizza Burrata: I love burrata and hence loved the pizza toppings (appreciative of the generous servings of Burrata as well!), but my issue with the pizza was the base/crust. I felt it was neither here nor there; not thick and chewy enough, yet at the same time not thin and crispy enough. - Bacon Miele Pizza: Similar to the Pizza Burrata, I liked the topics and flavours but disliked the base/crust. - Calamari Fritti: Felt that the calamari was fresh but I didn’t like the batter used as I felt it wasn’t flavourful enough.

However, I wouldn't rate this 4.0 and above as overall I have eaten better quality Italian cuisines elsewhere in Singapore. Out of 5 orders we found the kids choices were the best, ie. Pappardelle Boscaiola and Pizza prosciutto e funghi. Risotto Alla Pescatora had the seafood all boiled in hot water and just placed simply on top of the so-called rich seafood tomato sauce - nothing special and didn't taste rich at all. In fact the base sauce tasted the same as that recipe as my king prawn, scallop linguine's which was also not something I would boast about to friends. But the 2 king prawns were very fresh though. The quality of cherry tomatoes used are not great. Lastly the pizza salmone was salty and slightly over charred a the base of the pizza.
A	Anton 999 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been coming here and to their sister restaurant, Bella Pizza, for many years. You can order from either menu at either location. They have a wide range of dishes. The food is decent and we’ve never had a dish we didn’t like. Service is good. The value is also good for what you’re paying. Though not pictured here, their grill menu is also nice, so if you don’t want to load up on carbs, you have options.
L	Lynne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect bowl of pasta! Tagliatelle was well cooked (not too soft/hard) and the sauce was very yummy. Amount of beef was generous too. Good portion for 2 to share as late lunch and not get overly full for dinner. Ordered this via Grab pick up, pasta was ready when I arrived at the restaurant. The manager was friendly even though he was having his meal and his staff was the one serving me.

It’s not difficult to understand why they are so popular. Fresh ingredients with generous portions of the handmade pasta coupled with excellent service from the crew. I’ll be back.

The staff were still really nice though! The seafood pasta and burrata pizza were the stars of the night. Other two mains were just OK. Would go back for the pizza and pasta only.

They were pretty generous with the parma ham and burrata dish. A real gem along Robertson Quay. We got an outside seating - which in my opinion was much better - got to enjoy the river and evening was pretty cooling.
