the bespoke betelbox tour is simply the best i've ever experienced! My group wanted something different - enjoyable, yet relaxing and able to still understand the deep history that Singapore has to offer, and Tony was just fabulous to be able to accommodate to our request. and also educate us on these! It was a great tour and despite the restrictions that we had to adhere to, we were able to learn more than what we have in our social studies lesson. The way Tony engages us is not just with fun facts, but also interactive sessions of questions and answers (especially for a crowd that might get restless easily!). I will highly recommend the tours to both foreigners (because you should listen first hand and see how knowledgeable and insightful Tony is, alot of these stuff are not google-able) and Singaporeans (these are really value add to what you would have already known about our little island, and whats a better way to rediscover Singapore's history and beauty, with a little refresher course with your friends and family?).

The night before the Black Friday sales, I went on the Joo Chiat / Katong food walking tour. I have never eaten so much food in my life!! Not only was the tour guide Tony superb, funny and highly knowledgeable - as well as incredibly insightful! - but the exposure to a variety of Singapore cuisines and cultural facets was highly rewarding. A winning tour; I can’t recommend it highly enough. My vegetarian companion was also really well catered for... Just don’t eat beforehand!!! Julie, PERTH Western Australia

I don’t usually rate on google but i have to say that my family and i loved this tour. Tony was funny, knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us interesting insights on the joo chiat neighbourhood and we had so much fun! There was even a special birthday cake for me at the end of the tour! highly recommend this tour!

Whether you are seeing Singapore for the first time or currently sick of being stuck in Singapore due to Covid-19, this is THE tour for you. Went on the Sins and Salvation Geylang Food Walk tour led by our tour guide Tony Tan and it had only been amazing both for the foreigners in our group of friends and us Singaporeans. Allow me to explain why. For our foreign visitors - A truly authentic local tour with a very knowledgeable local guide. Tony is known to not only be an all rounder in the tour aspect of things, having his own hostel, bistro, tours, but this guy actually trains other guides. Imagine that. In my opinion, this is our version of a real local tour, comparable or perhaps even better than those walking tours in Europe, or hostel tours in the US (think Banana Bungalow in LA, Green Tortoise in SF). Hit them up for a comprehensive experience of culture, insights, history and delicacies. For our local tourists - A chance to truly see a different side of Singapore, away from the mainstream heartland malls, shopping centres, hipster cafes, ang moh enclaves we are perhaps more used to. The Geylang tour offers a glimpse into history that will not be found in our social studies text books, but is so important for us to witness, to build a better shared understanding. Bonus point is that, you may have tried many of the local delights, but imagine getting to eat them ALL in one tour. 100/100 value for money. Don’t say no jio. In any case, like Tony said at the end of the tour, pertaining to the Geylang walk, that he really hopes this part of Singapore - the culture, the rawness, the melting pot nature of it all - gets preserved and you can’t agree more because everyone of us should get a chance to see it.
