Went there to specifically try out the KL Hokkien Mee, based on a recommendation and have to say I was impressed. There was sufficient wok hei and the balance of sweet and savoury, hinted with umami, with plenty of fried lard bits to remind me of paramount gardens in SS. The plate was a large at $16, and easily fed 2 with good appetites. Probably the best KL Hokkien Mee I’ve had in Singapore. I definitely am awaiting my next visit.

Been wanting to try their fried porridge for a while. Finally got chance over the weekend to try. Ordered signature fried porridge and a KL Hokkien Mee. I think I might have found the best KL HKM in Singapore! Greasy, umami plus tons of wok hey! This is the best KL style HKM I ever tried outside KL. Fried porridge, the sweetness of the dried octopus came through nicely. Reminded me of my encounter of this dish in Penang. Both dishes were excellent, though some might find them greasy and a bit jelat… especially towards the end when the porridge turned cold… still, I will be back!

The fried porridge sounded interesting which prompted me to give it a try. Tasted like normal Cantonese porridge except that it was drier. It came with lots of condiments including yam, meat slices, and several pork lard bits. Unlike usual porridge, it was dark colored. It didn't taste fried though. Overall, I would give this dish between 3 to 3.5 stars. Would give other dishes a try next time.

I had a small portion of fried porridge ($7) which had lots of sliced pork and pork lard. I would say that this is something different from the usual white porridge. But I do not find it impressive. I also had sweet potato leaves stir fried with garlic ($9), but this was not done well. The flavour was plain, and lacking any kind of wok hei. The fried white mushrooms ($12), was like a tempura shimeiji mushroom, and was not bad. It was pretty crispy and I enjoyed it. The butter sauce chicken ($12) was average.

Expect a long-ish wait as they are short staffed and some of the food does take a while to prepare. But at least the food is still very good. Ours took around 30-35mins to come but since they give a buzzer, can just sit and wait and there’s no need to queue at the stall. Fried porridge is still one of the better ones around.

The fried porridge was so savoury, thick and flavourful. The salted egg cuttlefish was tender and crisp. I would skip on the tofu unless you like strong ginger flavour. I ordered it on grab food at dinner time and had to wait more than an hour, so order in advance if you can because the kitchen gets busy.

First time trying fried porridge in Singapore. It is quite a comfort food with smooth texture and strong flavour, with the nice burnt smell. The other dish - fried BeeHoon is also nicely cooked. Will definitely try out other dishes during the next visit.

First try with this fried porridge. It tasted like a thick savory paste.. reminded me of homemade mashed potatoes in some sense. Personally I find it was a little too salty which may be why I couldn't really taste the other stuff in it. Overall I think the flavours are a little dull and flat tbh, even though there are some bits and pieces of pork/chicken and crispy pork lard inside etc.
