β β β β β Was there to buy bread. They have a promotion. The counter show 6 bread packed nicely in a box and promoted it as a set. I bought 40 breads for my parents, my sister, my brother and myself. Counter staff says cannot pack them in box. But they displayed the items in box. They said could only give me in individually wrapped transparent plastic bag that is used in the market. Hence, I rejected and walked away. This is how they do business? All the best to them. ?ββοΈ?ββοΈ?ββοΈ

β β β β β This year 2020 - Breadtalk launch their Teochew mooncakes , i bought 2 boxes of the classic (4pcs/box). Collected from Chinatown Point #01-45, they allowed me to mix under the range of $35.80
Fyi, Inside the box has a coupon that entitle for you to purchase 8pcs of Tau Sar Piah @ $11.80 redemption period 2 Oct to 31st Dec 2020.
I had Sweet Tau Sar with Melon Seeds , Salted Tau Sar with Salted Egg Yolk, Yuan Yang With Salted Egg Yolk and Red Bean with Salted Egg Yolk.
Honestly ,this year mooncakes from Breadtalk, I did not enjoy as much as the traditional one, I still prefer the traditional mooncake. The Teochew style is a bit dry for me.
According to their catalogue the recipies taken from Thye Moh Chan which is now bought over by Breadtalk . Since 1943 , Thye Moh Chan has been crafting these much-anticipated Teochew mooncakes every Mid-Autumn Festival. Every single piece is laboriously handmade by their chef, boasting light flaky pastry skin and delectable fillings.
For Teochew fans out there, you might like this traditional Teochew mooncakes, do go and check it out. I love their packaging , sweet colours and beautiful design , their service is awesome and friendly . I have always enjoy being their customer.
Don't forget to checkout their Teochew mooncakes if you like the flaky pastry style.

β β β β β Nicely presented food and good service. Although a lot of the cakes did seem to be a little on the pricey side.

β β β β β Staff were very professional and patient.
I happened to witness a difficult customer who was making payment, and was going on about redeeming vouchers on the phone. I wasn't there from the start, so not too sure what sparked off the topic about cutting in the queue, or getting delayed with multiple voucher redemptions.
The male staff was patiently, and professional, informing the customer that queuing is a must, as there are other customers in the store wanting to make payment. And when the customer was blocking the Shopee QR code for me, he gently, but firmly, reminded the customer to move further to the side, so that I may access the QR code. The female staff at the cashier was also very patient, calmly serving the rest of us.
I think, in usual circumstances, there would have been some impatience in the tone or voice, but not in this case. So, kudos to them.
And yes, my curry naan bread was excellent as always. Thank you.

β β β β β I have been buying the breakfast set at the BreadTalk at Chinatown Point. Yesterday I had an issue with the purchase. Spoken with Dennis. He was patience to listen to my explanation. It was then resolved with a gesture of goodwill. He also help out in the cashiering as there was a long queue .
I bought the breakfast set again this morning. It is a valued set and the coffee latte is nice. Highly recommended for a quick bite. The cashier is polite too.

β β β β β One of my favourite chained bakery for high quality breads. Price is affordably higher than local stores but it's worthwhile. Potato buns are recommended!
