★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I encountered this issue today, 18oct21, 1150hr. The staff wearing BLACK POLO TEE, with a BLACK CAP was so RUDE!! I bought a otah bun and a curry naan. As I bought it many times before, I knew it was $1.80 ea.
I was using shopeePay then. I keyed in $1.80 for the first bun, n when I wana keyed in another one $1.80, that guy said its $1.90.. I hesitated and had doubts but he raised his voice n shouted $1.90. Even the customer behind me thought I was short of cash and wana make the payment for me.
Finally I made the payment of $1.90.. When he realised he's in wrong, he just said, don't worry, I'll return the extra.
No apologies from him. I felt victimised. Is it because I'm a Chinese lady? If I'm a big tall Caucasian guy, will you do the same too? Pls treat others how you wanted to be treated.
Does Breadtalk has proper customer service training?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was behind this female customer when i happened to see the staff named Yves use a pair of scissors that she took from a box that contained other stationary to cut one of the buns into half. It is very unsanitary and i hope that the management of breadtalk will do something about this

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i kindly asked a staff named Yves at the breadtalk novena outlet to slice my bread into half and noticed that she used this black scissors from the stationery section to cut my bread. when i went back to inform her that it was very unsanitary to use it, she assured me that it was what they usually use to cut bread , the same exact scissors that was placed at the stationery section was used to cut ANY bread. i find it extremely unsanitary as it was placed near the pens, markers and penknifes… please do something about this , separating utensils that touch food and actual stationery.
