Caldecott

Caldecott MRT station is an interchange between the Circle line and TEL line. Very accessible and convenient.

Caldecott MRT station ? in between the Caldecott hills, its an amazing place which is surrounded by a open place and SAVAH (Place for Visually Handicapped). This MRT station serves the Toa Payoh, Bishan, Thomson Road and Marry Mount residents. Usually MRT is not overcrowded and quiet. This MRT vicinity is empty but not much connectivity with public buses from Toa Payoh Interchange. More public buses need to be added to Caldecott MRT.

Towards Caldecott MRT STATION between botanical garden, there is an extremely loud noise outside the train tracks. It could be so loud that it hurts the eardrums. Horrendous!

This station is one of the quietest in Singapore, as it's not located in a heartland or business area. There are no shops located in the vicinity of the station, but from here you can easily reach places like Novena, Toa Payoh and MacRitchie. There are also toilets in the station.

Close to Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and SJI International School. Good for staff and students.

Next to Lighthouse School for Special Education and Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped at neighbourhood heartland of Toa Payoh Rise near Caldecott hill productions of main TV productions in Singapore with MRT CC17 and Thomson East Coast Line TE9. Walking distance to Marymount Convent School Mount Alvernia Hospital Assisi Home Braddell View Thomson 800 Condominium and MacRitchie Reservoir Park with scenic Reservoir views children's playground jogging tracks sports facilities shade Pavilion strolling trails amphitheatres and breezy greenery away from busy cityscapes. Walking distance to popular Florist including Island Landscape & Nursery Ji Mei Flower Candy Floriculture Far East Flora Market and Spa Flora. Walking distance to National Equestrian Centre RDA Centre Horse riding School and Singapore Polo Club dinning with scenic views of horses. Friendly cosy comfy welcoming ambience for romantic intimates groups students expats locals visitors and families.

Even with the increase in passenger capacity, the interval remains at 9 min. Efficiency?. Not of a first world country. Oh well, since waiting time is relatively long, provide more than the sparing seats for the tired waiting commuters.
