★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Singapore's first UNESCO Heritage Site: a massive and beautiful garden. A place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Find your special spot and chill! Priceless!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy to get lost here depending on which entrance you come in from. The main entrance from Neil Rd is the most convenient for me, restaurants, Taxi stands and car park. Further inside is The Ginger Garden with sit-down restaurants that are great for evening soirees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a huge park that stretch from Bukit Timah to Holland Road. The Bukit Timah section is the newer one and it includes the children garden with play areas for kids, Jacob Ballas Children's Garden. However, this garden is off limit to adults unless they are with their kids. The original garden has a wide variety of flowers and landscaping to explore. It even has a rain forest area that is fully board-walked so walking is a breeze. It will need time to explore so plan ahead and decide where to go. The National Orchid Garden section is a must for orchid lovers but there is admission fee involved. Best time to visit a park in Singapore is early morning or late afternoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was unwell after a fall at another station before opening time!
I managed to reach Downtown line , Botanical Gardens very early.
As I realized that it would be difficult to continue traveling,.
I approached young Asst Station Manager, Mr Jeya for assistance.
Mr Jeya was ever ready to listen and offer assistance immediately.
He brought me to a resting room.
I applaud and appreciate MrJeya for his outstanding commendable warm and caring attitude.
He was very genuine when he checked in on me to ask whether I need to seek medical attention.
Thank you Mr Jeya.
You left a memorable impression of yourself as a kind person.
God bless you!
Later, another Asst Station Manager took over after Mr Jeya's night shift duties ended.
Thank you Mr Seah for being reassuring.
God. bless you.
Awesome people at Botanical Gardens Downtown Line!??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well located, close to Serene Centre and the Botanic Gardens. The other entry and exit to the Botanic Gardens will be served by the upcoming Napier Station as part of TEL Stage 3 towards the south of the Gardens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Singapore Botanic Gardens is a World Heritage site and my favourite go to place for a walk, dining, or just simply relaxation. Besides the wonderful rich plants, trees and fauna, one can also see the plentiful wild animals of monitor lizards, chickens, squirrels, swans etc. On given weekends, one can pack a picnic lunch to hear the SSO and other performers perform on the ‘floating’ stage on the north end lake.
