He kept grumbling while making my carrot cake....once is enough...i regreted that i didnt read the reviews first

K	Kwan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In refrence to Food King Good's recommendation, it has a nostalgic taste to this plate of carrot cake which is only @ $2. The eggs were amazing and filled with wok hei. However the raddish cubes itself (which seems home made by the shop judging by the steamer) has a more "jelly" texture which is subjective on whether it's good. It reminds me of the old days but i personally prefer a more crisp with a less jelly bite to my carrot cakes.

Freshly made, stir fried on the spot and for just $2, you will get a generous plate of carrot cake. Their carrot cake were smooth and soft, very flavorful, more on the sweet side. Lots of eggs were also added to it. Definitely must order when you visit this market.

The carrot cake was really good, definitely NO MSG, has wok hey taste with different mouth feels. Similar to the other customers, the couple talk as if they are angry all the time, which can appear very scary and unfriendly. Quite common across other stalls. That aside, I think the carrot cake is worth trying :)

However, to some, it may be too soft, too moist. The sweetness is just right, not too overwhelming. It’s approaching CNY (they have not increased the price), and it’s only $3 - I will eat the dish often.
