★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is run by a friendly elderly couple. Old school wanton mee. Nothing really wrong with it. Not the best but definitely can eat. Wanton had the salted fish bits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed the $5 wanton noodles. The noodles were good. The char siew and wantons were fine. The soup had too much pepper.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $3.50 for what you see here.
Actually is 2.5 Stars.
There is a shrimp in the dumpling at least.
Noodle texture..... they can definitely do better.
Service - 2/10
Taste - 5/10 saves by the shrimp.
Value - 4/10
Will I come again? No.
The noodle I had was lumpy on a Small portion. This kind of mistake cannot be made as they are in business for so long.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered via food delivery . Had the wanton mee which was ordinary and added on pork ribs , pork rib super tough .
The dumpling was actually nice , had a prawn wrapped in each dumpling .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really not very sure why the ratings are so low for this stall!
I got the $4 version, I think it comes smaller at $3.50 as well. Overall, there’s an interesting flavour to the sauce mix used. A little of the old school taste. I like that the noodles are the super thin type and cooked to a qq texture. Wanton is the standard run of the mill type, well done but nothing outstanding. My only complaint is that the chilli was way too spicy for me, but that can be easily resolved.
Overall a great wanton mee for me. Will be back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Compared to it's famous competitor in the same food court, Soon Huat is just ordinary wantan noodles. The slices of char siew are lean, on the tough side and unimpressive , both in flavour and looks.
However, they do have chicken feet noodles , which are a rarity nowadays. The lady boss told me that the chicken feet are steamed and deepfried. There is very little meat but the crinkly skin is quite tasty.
The noodles are inevitably way too salty.
Even though I specified many times , no chili , my order still came with chili.
I do like the generous helping of chye sim or mustard green vegetable
Average but somewhat satisfying for a quick meal
