We are very pleased with the work that Carpenters has done for us with our home renovations, even during the Covid period. Nicole and the team from Carpenters are very professional and always willing to go the extra mile. We appreciate the open feedback and design ideas suggested during the initial planning process as well - Nicole is an experienced designer and was able to share her insights and provide practical advice and solutions, without being pushy. We would gladly work with Nicole and Carpenters again in the future, and would recommend Carpenters to our friends and family.

We had Edison as our designer and his designs matched what we wanted. Edison provided good suggestions and was helpful and responsive to our queries. Our house had received many compliments from our family and friends! As with most renovation projects, there were some hiccups along the way but they were resolved satisfactorily. Workmanship is pretty good. Many thanks to Edison and Carpenters again and we love our home!

Cecilia Chiew was exceptional and handled our project very well. Although we know very clearly that she is handling multiple project (ID business nature) , she is still able to response to us in a timely manner and do understand very well our requirement through discussion and delivered her promises. Not only she take our view very seriously , she will also let us know the pros and cons of such decision. Her working partner (electrician and carpenter) are excellent as well and deliver a really good job , good workmanship and lastly very good attitude and showed patience when it comes to understanding our request. All in all , in summary , i would say , communication with Cecilia was smooth with no hiccups and she delivered what she promises in timeline despite the sudden Singapore heightened alert partial lock down. Lastly , i would really like to thanks Cecilia for her hard work and also through this engagement, we saw her passion in interior design and also her desire to ensure that she deliver a new home to her customer. I will definitely recommend Cecilia Chiew to my friends if they need a ID. She just gotten Carpenters a loyal customer … :)

We are lucky to have Night Cheong as our ID. Both of us didn’t have any firm idea for our new house renovation, but he impresses us by showing us his professionalism to design our house within our budget. Due to Covid-19, we are facing some delay in renovation process, but Night tight follow-up the renovation process to meet our time line. Although our house is still under renovation, but we already have the feeling this is our home after seeing the wardrobe, kitchen cabinet and shoe rack that partially complete. Would like to say thank you to Night and his team for their effort and workmanship. We are highly recommended Night Cheong for your future home design!

I am indeed very blessed and thankful to have Night Cheong as my ID. Throughout the whole renovation process right from first meeting to this day, Night is more dedicated and committed than me, the owner. He worked within my budget, advised me to spend wisely and provides me regular updates on the progress of the renovation. I felt assured and grounded knowing that he is highly dependable and trustworthy. He kept to the timeline as promised given such tough times. I initially shortlisted 3 IDs based on good reviews on Google but eventually engaged Night Cheong from Carpenters to oversee our renovation work. He put in extra miles to show us mock-up designs before getting quotation which we normally do not receive from other ID's before the quotation. Most importantly, he was able to work within our budget and he was able to keep to our tight timelines that we have given him. 6 weeks renovation and we were able to move in to our unit without further delay and has saved us on 2 months rental. He was a conscientious listener and receptive to new ideas or change. He constantly provide updates on the progress of the renovation work. He is highly trustworthly and thumbs up for the great services rendered by him and I will not hesitate to recommend him to others ?

Was looking for a ID to help plan the renovation for my 40yo resale flat as i have a busy work schedule and needed someone to manage the renovations. Read about Carpenters online and gave a leap of faith to try them out. I was assigned to Night Cheong. Through the planning discussions, I appreciate Night's receptiveness to my ideas and provided his professional feedback. I had 2 asks and that is (1) try keep within my budget of 40-50k and (2) to retain some of the existing old features eg the mosaic arch and the marble flooring that were part of HDB 1980s design. I like that he is flexible and try to work towards my asks. Some IDs that i spoke to earlier are quite insistent on their designs or felt my budget is too low. As the renovation was done during year end holidays, CNY and Covid, I am grateful that Night tried his best to arrange for the various sub contractors to endeavor to complete before CNY. I also appreciate that he is responsive to my frequent queries and flexible in accommodating my schedule. Given 4 stars because towards the end of renovation, some defects e.g. old wall nails not removed during new paint, obvious paint defects, 1 existing wall fans damaged, etc were not noticed until probed. Although this is due to the subcontractors' delivery standards, and Night was prompt in arranging for the rectifications (even when he was on CNY vacation), I think the supervision can be better.
