Ordered the Chao Chao Gyoza, Buta Ponzu Gyoza, and Sushi Moriawase, and they were all so delish. Great value for money, and the waiters are very friendly (the toilet is super clean as well)

Wide variety of gyoza, enjoyed all the flavours we got esp the curry one. Good service and love the store decor. Quite pricey but worth the visit

First established in Osaka as a small restaurant back in 1971, @chaochaosg has since opened restaurants all over Japan, Hong-Kong, Philippines and now Singapore! The ? gyoza here are fried to perfection, charred on ends with golden brown and chewy skin, filled with juicy interior stuffed with fillings. ? Apart from the traditional Japanese recipes such as Yuzu Gyoza, Ebi Gyoza & Nin'niku Gyoza, they also have unique localized flavours such as Curry Gyoza, Mala Gyoza, Onsen Egg & Cheese Gyoza and Ponzu Buta Gyoza. ? We really enjoyed their Gyoza as it's really aromatic, appetizing and not oily at all. The juicy and meaty Gyoza goes really well with Beer and Sake, and most Gyoza are only selling at $4.90 for 3 pcs and $6.90 for 5pcs. Other than Gyozas, their sashimi is extremely fresh & their yakitori uses homemade teriyaki sauce marination. What really stood out is their appetizer dish, Goya Chanpuru which is made with vibrant green bitter melon, tofu, spam and egg! Refreshing start to the meal! ? The service at @chaochaosg was also top-notch and I like the fact that they only close at 12am! Perfect for dinner and late night supper!

Perfectly crispy and flavorful gyoza!! (Special shout out to the curry flavor gyoza). Friendly service too. Definitely recommend a visit to satisfy your gyoza cravings!

Looked like a legit izakaya-styled gyoza place, but we were in for a rude shock. Service is appalling, as the service staff continued to play games on their handphones despite seeing us waving to be seated. As a specialty store serving gyoza, the gyoza were substandard and overly salty. Not to mention that they were small and thin, with very little filling. The salmon roll was no better, with mushy rice and not very fresh salmon. Very disappointing quality. Avoid at all costs!

Such a great place to be! We were having a casual catch up for drinks & dinner, love the signature dishes like Gyoza (lot of varieties), Fresh Oysters, Sashimi.. too much to list. We also love having the great wine selections at the outdoor space, it is windy and chilling. Value for money and very attentive staffs! Will definitely go back again.

Ordered the set meal $15 with a beer, 8 pieces gyoza and 3 pieces of another type of gyoza (aged cheese) and a cucumber dish. Added $2 to get a pint of beer. Tried the BBQ platter with 5 sticks, too salty for my liking due to the sauce. Definitely not healthy due to the high salt content, especially the meat balls. I will recommend the set meal for small eater or a snack. 5 stars for great service. 3 stars for food. 4 stars for value.

It's an okay place, especially up against some really good spots at the Cuppage stretch. We chanced upon it only because they had space. Prices are fair, very fair. Ambience is alright, very average. Food is okay, very standard. All in all, if you need a table, yes this works. If you're looking to enjoy your experience that evening, you got better options.
