Went there with for dinner for a table of 8 pax but left disappointed with their services. Services were terrible and a shambles. Drinks were served after an hour and only after pestering the staff. Foods arrived after 1.5 hours of waiting. ???

Not worth your money and time. Food is not consistent. Ordered the ox tail stew because of good reviews and pictures on their other page "Cafe New Asia". However when we ordered the ox tail, we got a whole bowl of tendons and no meat at all. The sauce was extremely starchy - almost jelly like...

Just visited on 2/5/22 and had the table reserved.( with menu dishes indicated advance )Dishes were served late ..at least 40 min. Dishes served were cold ..like the fried squid,not crust at all and worst the fried soft shell crabs ….tasted funny ..spoilt ..ask to cancel it. Staff service were poor. Never visit again …worst place had ever visited.

Slow and poor service. We need to inform them 3 times before the soup for the steamboat was topped up (take 15min). The staff even said 'just now you already asked right?' Shouldn't she feel apologetic that I need to ask multiple times for a simple request? The one managing the order at 2000hr on 14 May 2022.

Heard about their chilli crab pie and chicken pie, bought one each to try today. Tasty ingredients and aromatic pie skin. Worth trying. Thought of trying the wanton noodles also, but, pity its sold out already. Sure will be back to try it.

First time here as was recommended by a friend. Saw the reviews from other and was quite hesitant initially but we did not regret dining here. Price wise is similar to outside tze char. We ordered laksa (claypot $20) which could eat about 3 pax. Don't be shock with the price as it comes with 3 medium size prawns, fresh scallops with shell intact, an egg and lots of fishcake. Downside is there is no cockles which is my favourite. Also ordered 1/2 HK style chicken, sweet and sour pork and curry fish head. My kids loved the dishes as the curry is not too spicy which they can enjoy. Also tried the chicken pie ($25) which is awesome. Would like to try their cakes and signature Champaign pork ribs in future. P/S Didn't manage to take the pic of the rest of the dishes as was busy settling the kids for the meal.

The fried rice with fish roe had relatively generous sprinkle of roe but the rice was kind of hard just like those at the bottom of a clay pot. It wasn’t tasty at all though it smelled of wokhei when served. The fried oyster omelette was also disappointing. At $14 a plate, I guess there was maybe 3 or 4 small oysters, too much onion and could not compare with those in ABC Broadrick hawker center. Overall rather disappointing. Maybe these two dishes aren’t their chef’s recommendation or their specialty is really their crabs.

Return for my favourite chili crabs & mayonaise prawn rolls, , first try hong kong style chicken today , all 4 dishes are delicious and reasonable chir char price. Will return to try curry fish head soon!
