โ โ โ โ โ Had a very unpleasant foot massage at Chen Kang Jem done by a man wearing cap ..name probably is wong. Very unprofessional of him and likes to talk down to customer. When told him to be abit softer as i dont do foot massage that often he question why why and expect me to answer him. He kept talking and annoying me even i remain quiet. He ended his massage way too early and disappear to the back of the shop!! Total disappointment and big let down to his company and customers.

โ โ โ โ โ I have booked a massage session for 2 and was told before I checked in that my package has expired and in order to use it, I will need to purchase a new package. We explained that both of us have underlying medical condition and has tried to minimized going out. She replied โI donโt care whatever medical conditions as it non of my business.โ Her tone was loud, condescending and very rude. We reasoned with her and she reluctantly called someone on the phone which afterwards loudly informed us that we can use whatever remaining till end of this month. Her customer service is lacking, rude and very condescending. We have been long time customers of Chen kang and we have never encountered this bad service. Disappointing.

โ โ โ โ โ Bought 2 packages for legs and back and COVID-19 came along which meant it was closed. Came back after COVID and they said the package has lapsed. How do they expect people to come during Covid restrictions? Their proposed solution is to buy another package to be able to retain the old package. After a stunt like this, do they expect people to trust them again? I have only used 2 credits on the legs package and 1 credit on the back package and I am forfeiting both these packages which is 90% of the money I had paid to them rather than have to deal with these unscrupulous people again.

โ โ โ โ โ Had one of the most terrible Massage Experiences in Singapore. The whole experience was off putting. Signed up for 30 min massage and ended up with 20 mins of service. The masseur had no idea what he was doing. He was constantly chatting with his co-worker with no focus towards the customer. When I openly pointed out, he realized what he was doing and started focusing.
The Receptionist charged full for the session even though she realized I stepped out well ahead of the session. She refused to reimburse the money that she charged for 30 mins vs 20 mins.
If you are in JEM and looking for a relaxing Massage, this should be the last place to consider. The Automatic Massage Chairs at LVL 5 would come to your aid better than Chen Kang Wellness Center.

โ โ โ โ โ Went for 60mins full body massage. Pleasant and relaxing session to therapist Amy from JEM outlet. So far no unpleasant incidents from the therapist and receptionist. Hopefully it stays that way and no hard selling of their packages.

The front desk lady was very unpleasant and not welcoming. The masseuse had an awful attitude and was always in a hurry.
I had to change into some other pants for foot massage but since the pant was too loose, I had to request for another one
When I wore the new one and sat down for massage, the guy was unnecessarily rude saying I already used up 15 mins of the time.
I didnโt bother to fight him cause it was definitely not worth wasting my energy, and I am damn sure I am not going back there. The massage was average, there is no communication with the customer in understanding the pressure levels etc. Overall, it was not a great experience and I wouldnโt recommend it.

Weโve been regulars at CK since it started, and customers at this outlet for as long as we can recall.
To whom it may concern,
We signed a package awhile back (likely a year or so ago). But due to interruptions from Covid over the year, we were often told (whenever we tried to book) there werenโt enough therapists.
So when we finally got our slots today, we were shocked that 1) our package expired (first, nowhere were we informed of this) 2) front desk (a lady called Joanne) asked us to โtop upโ another package to activate the six sessions we are still left with, else we would have to pay. Had we not made a case (with assertion) weโd have been duped into buying another package.
On that note, you could tell that โJoanneโ was clearly annoyed and rude when we did not want to commit. I hope she was just having a bad day, and not usually behaving this way to customers. But that said, her behavior totally ruin our experience at Chen Kang over the years.
Hope you guys can look into this, and perhaps consider some staff counseling - refrain from such โhigh-handedโ way of selling packages.
Iโm giving a one-star because of Joanne. And itโs probably not fair to the therapists (cos theyโve been awesome).
