TLDR: I'm actually so disappointed by this place i wrote a long review. Place straddles between two concepts but fails quite miserably. The premise of the store is promising at first - a Chinese-style restaurant serving noodle and rice bowls with a modern twist of health foods to fit the appeal of grains bowl. Unfortunately, straddling between the lines can be tricky sometimes. My orders were 1, Beef with Oyster Mushroom Bowl; 2, Fish Flavoured Pork Bowl; 3, Dan Dan Noodle; 4, Noodle with Chilli Oil & Vinegar. All amount to an average price of $15 per bowl. The food was oily (contradicting the healthy eating effort) and overall mediocre. While there were obvious efforts to incorporate both types of elements, the two very different styles did not mesh well at all and tasted like the equivalent of having two reticent, unacquainted strangers with no common interests. As someone who likes grain bowls and Chinese noodles, I was disappointed on both fronts. The saving grace is service provided and ambience. The waitstaff were amicable and willing to help, and the furnishing was modern and comfortable. Overall, not recommended.

Chanced upon #ChengduBowl (#成都碗) in #Shopee when i saw their crazy offers. Bought the vouchers for #BraisedPorkBelly (#红烧肉), #GegesWokNoodle (#小哥哥炒面) and #SpicySeaweed (#拌海带丝) for only about SGD$5/-. It's unbelievable! So darn #WorthIt i must say. ??? . I had my reservations at first, but since it's only about 5 bucks, decided to just give it a try. I am pleasantly surprised that the food tasted decent. The braised pork belly is a must try, totally loved it! ??? Still can't believed that i only paid about 2 bucks for it. The noodle is not bad too. Spicy seaweed maybe not recommended, nothing good about it. . #StanzFoodHunts @chengdubowl #ChinatownPoint @chinatownpoint_sg #ChineseCuisine

Dan Dan noodles: noodles were cold Decoration, taste and portion is decent. Chilli oil and soy sauce provided separately. Braised pork: this is good with balance of fats and meat Deducted points because of pricier than average and cold food.

Ordered noodle take away, found these two “friends” in the source ? Observed the way how they prepare the food , hygiene is a big concern. Will not go back again.

Got the food via delivery. The food portion was great! My favourite was the stewed pork belly, flavourful and soft. The sliced fish was definitely an interesting experience for me. The fish may look pale on the outside but was pleasantly surprised that it to come with the fragrant and powerful szechuan peppercorn taste. What chengdu bowl provides was quite unique in Singapore.. giving chinese food a modern twist!

Tried the fish and ox tongue, both taste decent. It’s like a fancy caifan but with a steep price. $14.90 for a large bowl is really expensive but it is worth a try if you have 1-for-1 offer. The highlight of the meal is their green chilli - it’s very tasty.

Used Burpple 1-1, got the 酸菜鱼 & 红烧肉. Portion was big enough for 2 meals, very value for money. Interesting concept and unique, just unsure if it’a healthy enough for the health conscious

This time trying the spicy chicken bowl 辣子鸡成都碗. I like it! I like the spiciness of the chicken and it comes with various colorful vegetables. The combination of healthy and spicy food ♡ Got a free side seaweed during promotion timing.
