I had shingles and after more than 2 months still in pain. Someone recommended me to this place. Thanks to Physician Chia, my pain was very much reduced after 4 treatments. A great & friendly guy who speaks English, Chinese & most dialects too.

Walking distance from Kovan MRT station, will pass by a condo, a church, Selegie Beancurd. It's the staircase before the teochew porridge, hard to miss. There's a constant stream of people going into, so it's always advised to be there early. When I go for the evening session, I'm usually there at 6pm, done around 8pm, depending on the treatment. (If you're here for the morning session, and not on a Monday, can consider staying for the famous fish soup across the small road. But you will need to be prepared to queue!) Mom and I have been going for a couple of weeks, and the treatments have been working wonders for my mom. She's been singing praises about how her knees have been getting better, and her shoulder is less painful when she's lifting it up, etc. Even for me, he did acupuncture on my stomach, and my menstrual cramps is almost non-existent! And I used to have really bad cramps, cause of my fibroids. Usually it's hard to tell after the 1st session, but both my mom and I were able to feel significant improvement from the 2nd session onwards. Each session consists of consultation, acupuncture and cupping on the affected areas, followed by medication. Frequency of the sessions depends on the severity of your condition, so for both my mom and I were twice a week, so we were given 3 days of medication each time. Once we're better, it may be reduced to once a week, and so on. Just take note that TCM is not a short fix, that it takes at least a couple of treatments before you'll get better or get fixed. It's been $78 per session, for me/mom, with 3 days worth of medication. The clinic is medically registered, so if you have any personal accident plan that includes TCM, you can consider treatments here, too!

Some services are good and worth for the money but some service are not good and expensive. Some Services are good doesn't mean must be expensive or cheap. I met a good doctor and is true that there is a need to have some 疗程 (Course of treatment) in order to get well but he treat his patient very well, very friendly and give lots of advices in what we need to do. He is very skillful in acupuncture and he is very detailed in pointing out the problem very accurately without us telling him what is the issue sometime. Family business as a doctor since 1946s. Very well known during that time. Worth for the cost ^^:)
