Intemedical Kovan Clinic - 210 Hougang Street 21

I visited your Kovan clinic on 21 Feb 2022 @8:03 pm and finished at 9:30 pm which took 1-1/2 hours waiting hours. I did not complain this long waiting hours. I am disgusted and annoyed by your counter staff’s bad attitude in their way of answering and serving the customers. I gave feedback to this male staff on the non-answering of phone calls and my recent Whatapps experience with a staff. He brushed me off by saying they are too busy/overworked to reply to me and asked for my understanding towards them. I asked for his understanding too in view of my age: 60 years of age, being a Senior and “Covid positive” (life threatening) situation that I am in urgent need of help. He again spewed nonsense giving excuses, I just ignored him as I felt irritated by him. During my Covid period, I WhatsApp your staff on 29 Nov 2021 @08:31 am to check if your company provide HRP, I only got a reply on 30 Nov 2921 @1145 am which took almost a day to reply. When I checked with him if your clinic is participating for Screen-for-Life and wanted to have add-on for other health screen charges, he can’t give me an exact answer and ask me to search and register online. Nevertheless, when I collected my medication, this female staff is rushing to finish me off and did not explain properly and clearly the medication. When I asked for Seraptiopeptidase and told her the doctor did not check my lungs earlier which the doctor should as I develop signs/symptoms of Covid (sore throat and cough), she is not happy with me, only upon my insistence, she reluctantly and unhappily do it for me. I think I felt stressed at your clinic as if I am dealing with “aliens”. I don’t feel at ease at all. Being sick, I require a peace of mind to rest well. But I still need to deal with the stress at your clinic.

Fees are more expensive than comparable clinics. If the diagnosis is good and medication can target the problem, at least it warrants. Went there twice for the same problem because the first time round didn’t help. Not only did the second visit turned out useless, but I was recommended to do expensive testing. Poor experience and diagnosis by the doctor. I had to go to another clinic for another opinion, and all was well with just one visit. A few days later, I was already well, I received a call to go back to collect my results. Now then wanna tell me what’s my problem? Im already well. I dont even want to go back to take it. Useless.

Doctor is friendly and good in medical prescription. However the receptionist made me waited for almost 1 hour 40 minutes and the medicine is still not out yet. There was 4 person stationed at the reception but some are just acting very very slow and one even sitting there doing nothing. Keep on reminding for 3 to 4 times and things is still not done yet. Very bad experience with the reception staffs.

Visited the clinic on the first day of CNY and it was especially packed (probably due to the surge in covid cases). Despite the long waiting times that might have led to unhappy patients, the counter staff were still cheerful and very professional. They entertained questions with patience and still had a merry tone in their voices. All these contributed to a generally pleasant experience at the clinic in spite of the long waiting time. Special s/o to Wei Lun who was so patient and helpful with us!

Been here for quite sometimes already. This clinic is alway crowded but the counter staff are alway polite and professional in dealing with patients. Doctor are good too.

A big applause and salute to the doctor and staff at Intemedical Kovan for their efforts. Pass by clinic on 3rd day of CNY, it was packed as D1 & D2 as reported due to surge in COVID cases. Overheard one of the patients (waited long hours) who came out after seeing doctor that the service was great. Doctor was very patience, listen attentively and answering all queries and he also noticed she never take a break for dinner (calling patient in immediately after one out). The front counter staff were also very pleasant even though you can see that they’re quite tired too. Let’s all be kind and understanding and be patience with them too as these people really work very hard to serve us with care.

I shouldn't have book my booster shot here The staff at the counter is rude and I go for booster shot , The staff can think of I go for swab test because my name is same as the person that go for swab test without any verification. In the end I have do the swab test for nothing wasting my time and hurt my nose. And the booster shot I still have to wait because they wouldn't called your name or something everything u must do yourself by asking them Overall the booster shot staff is quite professional and sound professional too

First time visiting the clinic. Crowded but staff are still very patient, kind, helpful and courteous. Very pleasant experience and will come back again. Dr Ang Dun Yong saw my daughter and me. He’s professional, patient, thorough with his examination and explanation. No wonder the clinic is so crowded. Good service! Thank you!
