★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a Chee Cheong Fun and Yam Cake Combo at $3.20. The sauce is the sweet dark type, which I like and prefer over the Hong Kong CCF with light sauce.
The CCF is warm but the Yam Cake is room temperature, which is kind of strange.
Overall, not the best CCF but good enough for my taste buds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Better than his competitor. Not so oily, and the yam cake is not so mushy. Yam, cake is more solid, and the sauce doesn't have a bad smell. Admittedly sweet sauce is sort of sweeter than usual. Portion is relatively OK for the price paid. The g rice is one of the best I ever had. Nice smelling rice with fragments of hotdog. Chilli sauce on the rice is a little salty. Ordered 4 plates for sharing with 3 pax.

a healthier version. Less oil, less flavors, less omph.
Steamed rice roll on the other hand was how I love it. With just enuf bite to it, light flavor of rice as you chew, not overly drenched nor overwhelmed by sweet sauce.
