I ate this some time back for dinner and had forgotten to write about it. Here is one old school chicken rice. It tasted like something I would eat at home. The chicken is a little chewy, overcooked. The chilli is bitter and spicy, no vinegar nor lime. The rice was dry but still has the tint of chicken taste. Sounds bad? This stall has been selling for 30 over years and the old couple are still selling. It is a pretty authentic chicken rice but not one that many would rave about. So if it did not taste so great, would I eat it again? Maybe, just because it is so old school. But certainly not recommended for the fussy eater. One thing for such. It is cheap! This plate for $3!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummy chicken rice near my workplace. The old hawker is generous with the chicken at affordable price. They also like to cut the cucumber into paper-thin slices. Something that my colleagues and I always go back to eat. Currently it's open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 12pm onwards.
