Went during lunchtime around 11... There was around 10 people queuing. Around 20-30 minutes queueing. Chicken was soft and tender. I actually was expecting more... Didn't quite meet expectation...

Chicken soya is tender and moist, without sambal the taste wouldn’t be so good. But the wantan noodle taste is so so. 4 stars for the Chicken soya with sambal.

First time patronising this stall, didn’t know they lost their Michelin star alr but still, I’d say this is easily one of the better soya sauce chicken I’ve had. A tad disappointed there’s no 油饭 and that they only have white rice but after chatting with some people, they mentioned that the gravy is good and makes up for it. Absolutely love how tender and flavourful the chicken is but do note there queue takes around 15-30min!

The chicken taste very tender & juicy with a sweetness after taste of the marinate. The hor fan was average though. For the price and food quality it certainly deserves a 5-star. Unfortunately, the service & attitude of the lady was less than desirable and the use of styrofoam plates and disposable cutlery is a total put off in this climate.

When Hawker Chan lost its Michellin Star, many were shocked and wonder if the standards at the original shop has fallen far. Being curious, a visit was made to the original stall to see if the quality is still there. Joining the queue at the 2nd floor of the Chinatown Complex Hawker Centre, the wait took about 30 mins. Upon order, the food was quickly served and soon was started to be consumed. Tried the Soy Sauce Chicken Noodles here and it is so much better than the outlet by the roadside at the ground floor just a stone throw away. The Soy Sauce Rice though didn't have the same texture probably because it was dryer. Nonetheless, the chicken meat was still fantastic. Not sure why the stall lost its Michelin Star but this stall definitely has still maintained its quality. First time here. Ordered the soy chicken noodle with added char siew. The noodle is cooked just right, still springy, char siew was really good, cut thick and not dry. The main star, the soy sauce chicken, meat was tender. Owner gave me the drumstick, cooked perfect, no red parts. The only let down was the chili sauce. Not the usual kind of chili sauce for chicken rice. Portion is big for the price. Overall decent meal, came right before noon, queue was less than 10min.

The outlet has definitely lost its charm (and Michellin star as well). Chicken is very moist and tender which is good however it lacks distinctive flavor. Additionally, the main course was lukewarm. Portions are quite large and cheap which are only two positives.
