★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guys, this place is hilarious. It’s an ok eqiupped gym with bags and other martial arts stuff. The facilities are a little bit old but not as bad as you’d think in the golden mile mall.
But let’s focus on the man behind it - Robert the trainer. I went there for a private session, payed 100 SGD to have some guy in a subpar mullet yell 80’s action movie cliches at me. He also wasn’t very fit which makes me think he’s just the hype man around those parts.

I ventured for my first Muay Thai class with no prior experience in any form of martial arts. Head trainer Robert was patient, engaging and passionate about the art form, making the beginner’s experience a fruitful and inspiring one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw a lot of action at different levels on my first visit to the gym. Classes for beginners and intermediate were ongoing and the fighters were training, which made for an inspiring class. The pace for beginners was nicely controlled and the coach Robert was welcoming yet firm in his delivery of the class.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As real as it gets. Raw gym. If you are expecting a fancy gym, this isn’t the place for you. You will do conditioning, jump roping and combos. Master the basics is where it is at. Robert trains everyone with care. He heads the National Muay Thai team so that saids a lot.
