Bar has great ambience, and superb customer servi ce!The one and only other review written by the other person probably only has two stars because she thought this place was a Korean restaurant. Would head back again for drinks!

Had an amazing time at Chuga last week. Kenneth and Imran was really attentive to our needs and brought us alot of joy and laughter. The food also goes really well with the drinks.

Wouldn't go back as it isn't an authentic Korean place per se. Side dishes don't have kimchi, wasn't refillable too. Kimchi soup doesn't taste like kimchi soup. Beef is ok. 1 star given for beef. Removing another star for staffs immature response below. Plus if they are not a restaurant as stated on your feeds, kindly change the business type to BAR. I have ss down all your platforms showing it as a restaurant. Will I go back? Don't think so. If looking for korean food, go tanjong pagar instead. For drinks, yeah sure. Prolly ya'll can go ahead still to chill. Seats not very comfy thou. Service was ok (unless one of the staff replied below, then likely to say service sucks)

Amazing place with good food and affordable drinks! Ambience was amazing, it almost felt like i got transported back to my kpop era. Staffs were super friendly and attentive as well, special shoutout to Camey and Nic!! And also special mention to their kimchi fried rice, bomb af. 10/10 would come back just for it

All in all, here's a good hole-in-wall "pocha" style place for drinking and hanging out with friends in the midst of Orchard Road.

Very cosy and quaint feel. Food is good! Ordered the Marinated Beef Kalbi. It was flavourful and cooked nicely, not overcooked. It was my first time trying Soju, but to drink at a place so peaceful and cosy like this place increases the beauty of the experience. My friend ordered the Kimchi Fried rice. It was also very balanced in flavour, not too salty or sour or anything. Overall would come back again.

What a way to unwind after a few long days of work. It was our first time at Chuga tonight, and what stood out immediately was the perfect atmosphere for letting loose - of course, over cold bottles of soju and beer - and soaking in the buzz that Cuppage terrace is known for. Although it isn’t an authentic Korean restaurant (not that it advertises itself as one), Chuga still delivers a very satisfying meal. Ours included their delicious kimchi fried rice and their grilled beef kalbi (a must try!! Seriously.). The sweet sauce served with their crispy gyoza was also a winner, so much so that we found ourselves dipping our other side dishes into it. The manager mentioned that they're looking to expand their menu soon, and I'm excited to see what they have in store. Speaking of staff, kind waitstaff is hard to come by nowadays, but even with the several tables they had to serve and clean up after, the ones at Chuga were still very accommodating and patient with us. Another great reason to return! All in all, though a very young business, Chuga seems extremely promising and we’re excited to keep coming back to see how they grow!
