★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first time at City Hot Pot! Service was really friendly and the quality of the food was excellent :) we ordered the wagyu ribeye set which also included a vegetable platter and a carb of our choice - very worth it! Also enjoyed my milky fish soup + laksa combo! Goes to show you don’t need to break the bank for excellent hotpot.

Overall we love it.
Just felt the wagyu ribeye set ain't worth paying $49.90, the meat ain't nice. So don't bother ordering. So I guess I wouldn't be using my Burpple promo in this restaurant as only this item is offered in the app
We prefer set 301 wagyu beef set. Or 302 wagyu chuck eye roll
To yum soup base was kinda salty would be perfect if its less salty
Sichuan mala spicy was good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An underrated hotpot restaurant and it has been my go-to place for hotpot. The set for 2 pax is filling and value for money. It also includes the sauce bar where you can make your own sauce.
It's better to make reservation online to secure a table before heading down. I did so just 1 hour before on a weekend dinner time.
Service is acceptable and the staff would offer to top-up soup. However, they forgot to provide some essentials like the soup laddle but were responsive when we asked them for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love how everyone has a pot each instead of sharing! ? I tried tomato soup, and although it’s not as nice as Hai Di Lao, it’s actually a very good alternative if you wish to go for a cheaper steamboat option. There is a lot of different individual sets for you to choose from, ranging from lamb meat, seafood and beef! Free flow condiments and some small side dishes like kimchi, and peanuts are available too.
The service was fast as well! Drinks need additional charges as usual. Everything is great :) would visit again for a good chill time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very delicious hotpot as usual! Been visiting their shop at Raffles Place all this time. Today drop by to Tanjong Pagar for the first time to enjoy it. Side dishes seems to have 1-2 variety more. Service by the staffs are friendly and warmth. Will regret not going back. :p

Their soups were tasty but gets salty over time as you boil (4 stars). Queue time during dinner was okay (25 minutes). Really full after eating their set meal. Ambience was good (4 stars). Would be back again.

Select your choice of soup base and there are options of 2, 4 & 6 person set which I feel is a better value than individual.
The ingredients are fresh and nicely presented. Portions are fairly sized and properly labelled.
The prawn soup base which I had was excellent and the flavor gets richer towards the end.
The only gripe I had was the braised pork rice which had a minute portion of pork and mainly fats.
Overall a better than pleasant experience.
Yes, I would love to be back to try other soup bases.
